^ I tried to post the video before but it didn't work, neither did the link. Search 'Karen Elson' at youtube so you can see it. :)

A video from ShowStudio :woot:

Movie Last Updated Thursday 18th January 2007
Created from footage captured during a marathon shoot for the September 2006 issue of Paris Vogue, Craig McDean's film '48 Girls' features forty-eight motion portraits of the most important models working today. From the ones you know of old -Karen Elson, Jessica Stam, Shalom and Gemma Ward- to the ones who only recently made your acquaintance -Du Juan, Solange or Irina Lazareanu- each sitting is captured from McDean’s perspective, providing a revealing account of the various ways a model interacts with their photographer.

Karen opens the entire sequence!

Thanks for the movie, very cool!

The schedule for F/W 07/08 is out. Marc Jacobs show is Feb 5 and Anna Sui is Feb 7. Hope she is there and at lots of others.

^ I should have been there! :brows:

Anyway I'm so happy that she has done 3 ads this time. She rocks! Would there be more?

She did DSquared :woot:
Not exactly what I would envision Karen to represent, but the ad's aren't that bad, in fact I quite like them..

I haven't been able to find ANYTHING on the net about last night's Citizen's Band show. I hope something turns up soon. :(

I went! By stroke of luck I was in Los Angeles and I got an email about this show in time. It was a beautiful production with an environmental and anti-war theme. It could well have been 'Chewing Up the Scenery' with a different title. Karen sang three songs, including the finale of 'Where Have All the Flowers Gone'. I've always thought she had a lovely voice, but it's much stronger than I've heard in the recordings floating around. Zooey Deschanel also has an amazing voice. Ronin and Jorjee Douglas were other high points. I was surprised Jorjee didn't get more than one song solo. Sarah Sophie Flicker was her exceedingly glamorous self and gets bonus points for her ability to dance en pointe, while with child. Maybe the theme for their next production should be 'Miracle of Life' or 'Baby Fever'! ^_^

You're so lucky!!!!!

I didn't know Sarah Sophie was pregnant, she's lovely *sigh*

And cause I have to know, what was Karen wearing??
