Wow, I was out of town for a few days and I was sure I would come back and have to catch up on a bunch of Citizen's Band stuff.... Hopefully some photos turn up. But thank you for your recap, joujou. I'm glad someone here got to go.

Anyway, I like Karen's look in the Mulberry ads, and congratulations to Lady Flicker on her baby-to-be!

Sarah Sophie Flicker introduced the pair last year, but the Citizens Band star herself won't be able to make the show's 3 p.m. call time. The seven-months-pregnant trapeze artist will be busy preparing for her group's performance later that evening at the Lower East Side hot spot The Box.

I wish I could give you a detailed description, but I wasn't close enough to the stage. The tables up front were all reserved. There were more people than chairs down there and I thought about crashing the party too, but I'm on the tall side and I didn't want to block anyone's view once the show started. Besides, I would have missed sitting next to Giovanni Ribisi. The room was packed with artists and industry types, but he was my only true star sighting in the audience.

I believe Karen had three costume changes. Looking at the pictures on The Citizens Band site, her costumes for this show seemed relatively simple by comparison. The flesh toned silky shorts with lacey top and the cream coloured flowy gown look familiar, as does the black lace number pictured in the link provided by ChristieHumble. For this production, Karen sang "Johnny Has Gone for a Soldier" and "My Forgotten Man" from The Trepanning Opera, and "Where Have All the Flowers Gone" from Chewing Up the Scenery.
