These days, most successful models are weird-looking anyway (the classical beauties are actually RARE in this day and age). So who cares if he says that Kate has crooked legs (which she does). She's just one in a sea of MANY weird-looking models.

I like Karl, because he says what's on his mind. But he's also known for making up with people he has previously badmouthed. For example, he had a fallout with Claudia Schiffer in the early 1990s (at the time, she was the face of Chanel). She was then conspicuously absent from a couple of Chanel collections. But months later, they made up and she was back at Chanel.

There's a video on Youtube of Karl in the 1970s. Without eyeglasses, and while his hair was still black.

it's very weird Karl said this about kate because he always say everywhere to everyone (who wants to hear him) that she's the perfect model (with Daria)...i think this is a misunderstand!

Not being a perfect beauty doesn't make you a bad model (Kate isn't perfect but that's a part of why she's so incredibly beautiful to me) so maybe what he said about her wasn't meant in a hurtful way. What bothers me, though, is that he'd say things like that to the press.
I mean, he could keep these assumptions to himself! I don't think any of those women would be deeply hurt about his comments, but they aren't nice to hear.
Plus, what diference does it makes? It doesn't change anything, except some opinions about Karl himself. He should eat better, ask Hedi to fit him a bigger suit and shut up. And cal YSL!
