Karolina was at the Oscars because every year, some models will be invited for no reason whatsoever by someone in the industry who they either know or were just acquainted with recently. She was shining on the red carpet and through the pap line, but once she was inside, it was pretty awkward for her since she didn't really know anyone too well and conversations with her were pretty short to the point of just a smile and a "how are you doing?". She just didn't fit into the Hollywood scene and that was probably kind of uncomfortable for her because at fashion events she's a star, but on the day of the Oscars she was almost a nobody. A D-list celebrity.

she's a supermodel, and she's well known by people in the industry. not just the fashion industry. how many times have we seen candids of her with different celebs? plus, if KK is a "D-list celebrity" and she was almost a nobody at the Oscars, i'd be really interested to hear about how intriguing YOUR conversations must've been with all the top stars.

Shes one of the models that I dont think would ever feel awkward in any siituation. Shes always hangin out with stars and most of the leading ladies are fashion followers thus know her. She seemed to be having fun and easily fitted in...if u ask me and it was brave of her to go alone!

In Los Angeles, people will more freak out to see famous but, you know, plain janes like Hillary Duff, Nicole Richie and Olsen Twins, than to see the drop-dead KK on the streets, maybe because there's a lot of Tall, skinny blondes here, especially in OC.

KK just sealed a big deal, rumored to be bigger than Gisele's, from Victoria's Secret. I think now, that Heidi Klum's retiring, there's a void to fill for that required Blonde in the VS slots. Who better do it than the ubiquitous KK.

PS: magazine editorials don't pay sh*t, so leave it to the up and comers.....KK is up there with the Big Girls, she doesn't have to do that!!!

Karolina and Pharrell are a couple just waiting to happen. They've done so many shoots together it seems and they're always hanging out.....
