"Frankie Muniz, Harvey Keitel and Amber Valletta are starring in writer-director Howard Himelstein’s coming-of-age dramedy My Sexiest Year.
The story centres on a young man (Muniz) and his never-to-be-forgotten romantic encounter with a top international model, played by Valletta. Keitel plays his estranged father.
Also cast are Christopher McDonald (Broken Flowers) Frances Fisher (Mrs Harris) and Haylie Duff (7th Heaven). Pop star Ryan Cabrera and
Victoria Secret model Karolina Kurkova are making their acting debuts in the film. Production is under way in Miami.
Muniz is best known for playing the title role in Malcolm in the Middle while Keitel’s recent feature credits include Be Cool and National Treasure. He won an Oscar for 1991’s Bugsy. Fashionista Valletta has appeared in the films Transporter 2 and Hitch. "

...aaaaaaaaaaaand some nice gossip from onset!
"Still in sunny Miami Beach, model-turned-actress Amber Valetta and former Malcolm in the Middle star Frankie Muniz were spotted passing a large baggie of marijuana back and forth at the legendary Joe’s Stone Crab restaurant. But there’s no scandal here – the weed was fake and the two were just shooting a scene for the movie My Sexiest Year. (Also in the flick is Harvey Keitel, who has something in common with Valetta: Both worked on projects in Toronto last summer and, just weeks apart, shot scenes on the same street near Queen’s Park. Keitel and Valetta even had their trailers set up in the exact same spot!) When it was time for lunch on the set, Valetta refused to eat from the craft services buffet – which was good enough for Muniz – and demanded that a fresh turkey wrap be delivered to her. Fellow model Karolina Kurkova, who also appears in the 70s-set movie, wasn’t as much of a diva. She happily posed for pictures with the director’s parents and mingled with extras on the set, raving about how great they looked."
