i've just been browzing through Gisele's thread.
do you remember when KK first appeared on the scene? she was touted as the next true supermodel. since then she has certainly become much more recognized, but at the same time she hasn't broken through to that NEXT LEVEL that makes a true SUPERmodel and turns her into a household name.
i wonder if this is a choice that she herself has made? if not - if she does indeed desire to be famous on the level of Gisele, Heidi, etc - then here's what she needs to do.
1 - Attend every event and party. Get your face OUT THERE so that people see pics of you.
2 - Go to eat at The Ivy or other such restaurants that are papparazzi traps.
3 - I think she's in a pretty serious & long-term relationship, but she is trying to get into movies a little bit, so she should at least schedule a *public* lunch with some actor she wants to work with. this will start rumours and get her face and name in the eye.
4 - MOST importantly --- get BACK TO THE HIGH FASHION CAMPAIGNS!!! she still has a face that can sell a magazine or a product. now that she's with Victoria's Secret full-time we'll see and hear much more of her anyway, and she'll likely become like an Adriana Lima. BUT, she should also try and get some campaigns again. Anything BIG with some large company. something that pays a bunch of money.
5 - get on that damn beach WITH Gisele and flaunt what god gave ya! the paps go crazy taking pics of Gisele on the beach, they'd go totally wild over both Gisele AND KK strutting around in their bikinis.
6 - get in a music video. A video for someone high-vis. like Justin Timberlake. he'll be coming up with a bunch of new videos over the next year, GET YO *** IN ONE OF THEM! he's saying he wants to "bring sexy back" well what better way than by putting the most beautiful woman on Earth in his damn videos?!?
7 - call all her photographer friends and get back in the editorials!! even the extremely critical folks here loved her recent Vogue edit. there's something about KK that the camera adores! the photographers have all only had wonderful things to say about her. she's beautiful and with more edits at W or Vogue she'll get even more and more recognition.

Except #6. Not that I'm against her doing a video. She can if she wants to, but not with Timberlake. I HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE him and I would absolutely hate to see her get involved in his "music".
