Karolina will be with Adriana at the Los Angeles Grove store tomorrow for the launch of the new biofit bra, and then they will do singings and then take pictures with fans (just like Marisa and Heidi last year with the "it" bra.) I called the store and they said that a LOT of press will be there and this is one of their biggest bra launches they have had for a while so I'm guessing the girls will do a lot of interviews in the morning and a lot of interviews during the launch as well. Go Adriana and Karo!

Kurkova already is cementing her status as one of the more super of the supermodels as she has signed on for a cameo appearance in Sienna Miller's big-budget flick "G.I. Joe" in the (surprise) role of cover girl.

I really honestly don't believe that, about the Heidi klum thing, while I'm a Karo fan Adriana and Alessandra have been angels a while before Karo, and lead angel goes in order of seniority, not anything else. and Karo's only been an angel since 2005, Ale since 2004, and Adriana since 2000. So I think she's 3rd in place, I really don't think she's Heidi's replacement, even though I love Karolina, she's still got a while to go to be "Lead Angel"

lol. i don't think it's a big "seniority" issue, CC. neither Adriana or Ale are what Heidi is -- the "Blonde Bombshell Angel". i reckon that's what they were meaning. and anyway,i don't think there needs to be such competition between them (there probably isn't, from their perspectives, just from the fan's).

^i agree. the "next Heidi Klum" thing is a major compliment, however i for one don't like her being compared to the likes of Heidi, but status wise it's all good B)
I could totally see her getting more & more exposure. Believe it or not, amongst my friends, she is one of the most talked about girls from the VS show along with Kerr. (showing the rise of popularity to mainstream from two girls who were more prominent in fashion & runway earlier in their careers)

As far as I'm concerned, Karolina was always the "head blonde" within the angels. She even had wings before Alessandra, if you're not counting the second segment of the 2001 show, where EVERY girl had wings. Career-wise, I think she is taking smart steps. As much as I love pictures of models I really like at shows during fashion week and what not, they don't get as much exposure outside of the modeling world. VS really did launch these girl's careers and I am very happy that Karolina is taking off

Wings don't mean anything at all. I meant became an Angel contract wise. It's Adriana 2000, Alessandra 2004, Karolina Selita and Izabel 2005. But yes Karo is defiantly lead blonde bombshell.

it's odd -- because in terms of KK, literally everyone who cares about the fashion world has known her and her work for years now, and we all understand that she's one of the very few recent girls who can actually be called a "Supermodel". BUT, she's only just recently starting to become well-known to the general public.

it's like she's had this entire career in fashion, and now is just beginning her 2nd career as a famous Supermodel. and she's only just 24 YEARS OLD! a VS Angel. an Actress in a big-budget movie. obviously, she's not the star of the film, but it'll certainly give her alot of exposure and gain her plenty of fans in the teenage boy demographic. point is -- she's moving into the realm of the general public consciousness.

just go to news.google.com and type her name in. there are a bunch of stories referencing her. little blurbs about her role in the G.I. Joe movie, her name dropped in an article talking about a NYC hotspot. the birthday story. her name is mentioned in websites when they need to use the name of a Supermodel for a story MUCH more often now than it ever was before. even a random "Comeback of the Tiara" story. haha. she's in entertainment blogs as well.

she's obviously not nearly as famous as someone like Heidi or Gisele, but i think she's made wise career choices thusfar and that she IS actually now on her way to becoming a household name in the same way as those other models.

I think the article about Selita could be very true...in the article it doesn't actually say she's being fired. Legally they can't terminate her contract without reason. What they are saying in the article is she won't be promoted in any main campaigns, which is a totally different thing from being fired. She's not popular with the public, some models just catch on and she's really not. Right now the biggest girls with Vs right now are Adriana and Karolina, they are the most stunning and the publics favorites so they are going to be used more, I think 2008 is definitely Karolina and Adriana's year.

i think that's just so strange abotu Selita ... i mean, she wore the Fantasy bra at this year's show, she's had 2 years of appearances in the SI Swimsuit issue ... i guess i figured her star was on the RISE in a big way. i pictured her as the next Tyra. anyway, i suppose this is off topic in KK's thread.

I’m an outdoor person and I love exercising and I enjoy it I really do…I’ve done sports since I was a little girl so its something that I have to do, its keeps me focused, I just don’t do it to *********** in the gym like some of these girls who you see they can run for like two hours on the treadmill and watch TV, I wish I could do that NO, I get bored after 10 minutes and I’m like eek, I have to do something else go outside or something.

Karolina also mentioned that exercising isn’t enough, she also recommends massages. “Massages are good I think its really important to take care of yourself for yourself, get a good massage get a good scrub have a nice sleep, a nice bath…”

Well the fantasy bra has really nothing to do with it, the company thought she had star quality but it turns out now they are looking at the comparison between her and Adriana and Karolina they are deciding to pull her back, I think Adriana and Karolina are defiantly the front runners this year and it's a been a long time coming.
