-her mother is a banker and artist!! (wow)
-and her father is nowm a police chief in Decin (of course basketplayer in the past)
-Decin population is 50 000
-she has a younger brother
-her family (grandma etc) lives in Zeleznice
Do you know something about her private life? here are only pics thats sooo sad...I would love to get know some private info about her personal live
for example: Does she has any contact with her friend who sent her pictures to Model Agency in Prague?
and what about Alessandro?? she never talks about him and always presents with other men. maybe he is a gay? because he is 33 now? quite old for Kurkova..she met him when she was 15, and what?? are they still together now?
she never goes with him on party
I even can't find one pic of the couple

who's Alessandro? is that the name of the manager guy she was with for ages? is he bald? anyway - they're not together anymore. she was apparently casually dating some Euro famous boxer. can't remember his name. they did a shoot for Vanity Fair together.

is KK very famous in the Czech republic? like, would everyone know her name or recognize her?
YES SHE'S well known in Czech Republic, most people exactly RECOGNIZE her, but I am not sure if everyone (like claudia schiffer..or cindy crawford)
anyway the times when each supermodel was a SUPERSTAR and when even a child knew them, will never return. claudia schiffer or cindy crawford they have been like a legends, they were well -known EVERYWHERE, and these days supermodels of 2000's are not such a stars...my friends even do not who who GISELLE BUDCHEN IS:/the real times of supermodels will probably never return
here in Poland, we do not have any VERY recognizable model which everybody would recogniz, both 60 years old man and 15 years old girl..

of course they are, very very famous, every Polish man/WOMAN know who SCHIFFER IS and NAOMI are..
in the past in poland we have nothing ! no models, no newspaper, but since Walesa changed the country everything changed, we have everything PRETTY the same as you as it comes to talk about KNOwLEDGE about FAMOUS PEOPLE, V.I.Ps ,models, actors, and so on

that's the basic difference between supermodels of the 90's and current supermodels!

ps. anyway I think that in europe people really don't know Kurkova, only those interested in modelling and those who read www news, but for sure MOST of the PEOPLE FROM CZECH REPUBLIC knows KURKOVA, I just met some ignorants

yeah, KK didn't really do much in Europe. i mean, obviously she's walked a million runways and shot major ad campaigns for virtually every classic design house located there ... lol ... but once she moved to NYC, she seemed to pretty much live there exclusively. if you peruse her pictures on gettyimages, there are a TON of pics of KK attending different openings or premieres or gallery things, or events of whatever kind. but 90% of them are in NYC. she's not part of the international jet-set the way that the models of the 90s were. if you look at Eva Herzigova's pics, you'll see that they're mostly throughout Europe. or in London or Moscow or whatever, but you see my point?
i'm certain that if KK had've wanted to be an internationally superfamous supermodel, she could've done so. she was the highest earning model on the planet in 2003. (look it up!) i'm sure she still gets invites to exclusive parties in Paris, London, Rome, Vienna, Moscow, etc etc. She just evidently chooses to be a New Yorker instead. haha.

you are right! she definately chooses New York, but it's important to feel good so if she wants? it's a shame, she is lacking in fame in Europe... but you know...it's not that nobody knows her here, absolutely not) www sites write about her and all poeple interesting in some gossip www sites or modelling hear about her, but that's all.... maybe if she opened some festivals, parties...than Europeans would hear more about her
she is quite famous but I would say that not everybody know her as much as Eva H. I know a lot of people who knows Eva and don't know KK. It's the publicity think she doesn't give interviews and she is not in Czech very often. But who is interested in fashion then definetly would know who she is...
exactly, the same situtation touches all current top top top supermodels, adriana lima, kurkova, giselle, erin wasson, angelina lindvall, ambrosio, selita ebanks, gemma ward, doutzen kroes..and so on... - they are on TOP but not so famous as SCHIFFER, HERZGIOVA, CAMBPELL...and probably the will never be so famous
this times will never return, this is right the magic of the 90's supermodels
