omg that cover is amaaaaazing! sooooo sexy. and i think you're right, avoo. i think i know what it is, too. this feels different from her "playful sexy" or her "bombshell sexy" .. she's giving us a more mature sensuality here. really reminds me of Eva Herzigova, actually. not in how she looks, but just the feel of it.

Crystal Renn and Karolina Kurkova Give us Nightmares in Interview Magazine’s Envelope-Pushing Editorial




Crystal Renn and Karolina Kurkova get in touch with their, ahem, clinically insane sides in a Steven Klein-lensed editorial for Interview Magazine, called “Strict Institution.”
Renn is the horribly abused patient antagonized by Kurkova’s Nurse Ratched-type character who metes out punishments like tying Renn up in weird positions and handcuffing her to things. The whole thing is weirdly convincing–Kurkova makes an excellent sadistic (yet composed) nurse, and Renn is superb as an unhinged mental patient.
The shoot kind of gave us the creeps–we just aren’t sure the whole corrupt insane asylum thing can (or should) translate to high fashion.

The supermodel and her close pals, including Rachel Zoe and Montana Coady, got together for the relaxed celebration at a private residence after the Oscars. A source told us, “After all the Oscar parties, the dresses and the red carpets, Karolina wanted to do something relaxed and fun to celebrate her birthday. Rachel suggested a pajama party. It was a really lovely, cute event.” Statuesque Victoria’s Secret beauty Kurkova was ready for a quiet night in after gracing awards bashes including the Weinstein pre-party Saturday and Madonna and Guy Oseary’s post-show party.

The Czech model Karolina Kurkova is the star guest at the gala at the Vienna Awards for Fashion & Lifestyle 26 March in Vienna's Museum Quarter.
