jovana said:- you do sound rascist. white or black it really shouldn't matter if an actor/actress is good for the part. although i odn't think beyonce would have been very good at all.
- as for those concerned about the blond hair...um...have you ever heard of hair dye? but then, not like it really matters.
- thank you. i fully aggree. another pretty hollywood starlet with a stunning smile and not much talent. (much like kiera knightly who almost ruined Pirates of the Carribbean with her "acting") there are so many actresses with talent out there...why kate? why not someone like selma blair, scarlett johansson or maggie Gyllenhaal. obviously kirtsen dunst was out of the question after spiderman...but their are young hollywood actresses who are not so blatheringly dull as kate. even actresses with mediocre (but at least a modicum of) talents like natalie portman or reese whitherspoon would have been better.
sorry for blathering...but i have a penchant for comic book movies

Seeing as how you are a comic book fan, why don't you look at the superman comics and describe Lois Lane to me. Its not a racist comment to point out that a certain character from a CLASSIC comic book is white. Truth is that the majority of the super heros and damsels in distress were white. One of the only black comic book heros is Justice League's Martian Manhunter.
I'm not racist I'm just pointing out a fact. Lois Lane's character has ALWAYS been portrayed by a white woman from the comic books to the tv shows to the movies already made.
