Kate Loses Her Guy

Kate Hudson and her husband Chris Robinson are splitting up, according to People magazine.
The actress and Black Crowes singer have been married for six years.
Despite telling People in a 2004 interview how blissfully happy she and Chris were since the birth of their son Ryder, in January of that year, it seems things have gone downhill.
At the time, Kate, whose mum is Goldie Hawn, told the magazine: "We're sharing something so gigantic now. I think it's the best we've ever felt being together."
However, the How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days star's spokesman, Brad Cafarelli, confirmed the separation yesterday.
Kate, 27, and Chris, 39, married on New Year's Eve 2000 after going out with each other for a year.

She married Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson and gave birth to their son, Ryder Russell Robinson, on January 7, 2004.

I'm 1000% percent convinced that nothing, I mean, *NOTHING* in hollywood last. Ryan and Reese will probably be the next hot couple to divorce. Divorce inevitable in hollywood.

I think THAT news would throw me over the edge. I might even lapse into a serious depression over it...or at least tear up the next time I watched "Cruel Intentions".

I tear up anyway. Tear up because Reece' character is such a loser and he chooses her. It is all about Kathartine Merteuil and Cecile Caldwell anyway. Cecile is so funny.

As for Paul Newman, you never know. Ted Turner and Jane Fonda were married forever and a day and it still ended.

Well the article just posted shows she wasn't been freethinking. That they had a no-adultery pact or whatever. In any case if she was being freethinking, why did she get married in the first place. I think polygamy is great but why ruin it with a bunch of vows that require a pre-nup anyway?

Its been an interesting few months for the family as a whole...Seems like a divorce is imminent and it was only a couple months ago that Oliver got married... I wonder how Goldie feels about the situation.

I wonder how she feels about it too emilie.... and I was so sad to hear about this breakup. They were my favorite hippie family. Seriously, I didnt' care when Jennifer and Brad broke up, it's not the look of the family that I like it's how it's structured and everything about Kate and Chris looked like they were meant to be.... Sources tell Us that Hudson's relationship with her You, Me & Dupree costar was the main catalyst for her split from rocker hubby Chris Robinson of the Black Crowes.
"This is not [just] a fling," a source close to the couple tells Us Weekly. "Kate is crazy about him. Owen gives her so much attention, and she loves it!"
