Tylw, I'm not sure but don't think it is Kate. She has the same complexion and features but somehow she looks different from Kate.

A new pic from Paris

tylw, her hair seems too long to be kate, but thank you so much for posting anyway.

the extremely pale, platinum blonde look is in, eh?

yeah, i thought so too, but the ear look almost the same?

i'm loving all these pics..especially the one in post 105..so pretty..

I know that one of the ones she carries is Chanel, but it may be the one with gold studs on it.:flower:

Thanks LostInNJ!! :) sigh. yet another glorious thing of beauty that i cannot afford. sigh sigh sigh

I just knew she wasn't American born. She has great style.

Any girl that wears a Tupac shirt with a blazer is cool in my book.

^^Kate is American born though, she was born in Washington D.C.

^ Really? I was always under the impression that she was born in Sydney and worked at Vogue Australia and Hapers Bazaar Australia before moving to Elle?

^no, i think she had stints in Sydney but was born in DC....

Many recognize New York-based fashion editor Kate Lanphear for her un-missable shock of platinum hair. But it's the Elle senior fashion and style editor's unmatched skills in dressing up—and down—that keep her at the tippy-top of everyone's aspirational style list (present company included). Lanphear, who came to Elle via Sydney where she held fashion posts at both Vogue Australia and Harper's Bazaar, admits to some ongoing sartorial weaknesses—studs and gray cashmere, included—and a decidedly anti-fashion manifesto, "My style is really Pot Luck," she says. "Whatever has just come back from the dry-cleaner." Here, the Washington, D.C.-native fesses up to the standbys, secrets, addictions, and afflictions that form her pitch-perfect code of chic.

Just as every new kindergarten class loves Dr. Seuss as much as the last, each generation of London fashion students is enamored with the idea of being the next Leigh Bowery. Hence the popularity of SuperSuper magazine, the bible of Britain's neon-bright young things. Its satellite show venture, just steps away from London fashion week's main tent, is a nonstop party of nu-rave cuties and their collections. For last night's SuperSuper Show, the mag hooked up with MySpace to present the collections of four new London designers—Scott Ramsay Kyle, Thomas Sels, Dharma Taylor, and Emma Bell—who paid collective homage to club kids past and present. At the joint SuperSuper/Felder Felder after-party, held at Punk, Soho's confusingly named glam-rock dive, the theme was "grunge de luxe." Though seemingly oxymoronic, more than a few attendees managed to pulled it off, including Elle U.K.'s senior fashion editor, Kate Lanphear, whose early Gaultier-inspired stripes and denim vest were an authentic reminder of why youthful cool never looks dated.
