Kate Moss - posting requires reading thread rules, see post #1

I think 21 is a bit late to start as a model.

For ordinary people, but not for people who grow up with the greatest model of them all as her mom, not to mention all the contacts. 21 still is a little conservative.

she looks amazing.. her body is even looking healthier cause we were all concerned for a while

I think its weird she said she wants lila to be a model. In another interview she said that she hoped she wouldn't be one.

Awwww, it's good to see Kate surrounded by good people. She needs that. She looks great in that dress and she looks refreshed too.

Thank you berlinrocks, wowandflutter, and blackangel41999 for the haircut info!!!!

Sadie Frost flies out to keep eye on 'out of control' Kate Moss

7th August 2007
Spare a thought for poor Kate Moss. The supermodel is having a wild time in Spain, throwing all-night parties on yachts and boozing almost 24/7 with a huge gang of mates. But all of that is set to come to an end as we can reveal that Kate's best pal and social conscience, Sadie Frost, is said to be so worried Kate's out of control that she's jetting out to Marbella to keep an eye on her.

Friend in need: Sadie Frost is expected to fly to Marbella to keep an eye on Kate Moss

Sadie had no plans to join the gang in Marbella but, after speaking to Kate every day, we're told she's so concerned she's postponed her plans to spend this weekend with her kids in Cornwall and she's jetting out to the Costa del Sol to look after Kate instead.

A well-placed source said: "Kate is having a wild time in Marbella, they're out every night, drinking loads and she's really letting her hair down.

"But Sadie is worried Kate's just having a kneejerk reaction to losing P**e. She's been on the phone to her daily, counselling her and telling her to be careful.

Apparently Kate seems a bit manic out there, she's weeping a lot and P**e is brought into every conversation.

"Sadie believes this is a crucial turning point for Kate and that this time she may actually kick the P**e habit but she needs to be very careful."

Kate is out in Marbella with her pals Kelly Osbourne, Davinia Taylor, Rhys Ifans, Holly Davidson and Rose Ferguson, while Sadie was supposed to be spending most of the summer in Cornwall.

And contrary to recent reports which claimed she was already in Spain with Kate - Sadie spent last weekend in London looking after her kids while their father Jude Law was in LA.

However, sources say Sadie has decided to change her family plans at the last minute so she can come to Kate's rescue.
Davinia and Kelly are all in Marbella with the model

She'll fly out this weekend to watch Kate for a few days and give her moral support.

When Sadie's not around to keep an eye on Kate, the job usually falls to Sadie's youngest sister Jade Davidson, who's Kate's long-term nanny.

Sources say Kate is always bemoaning the fact that she can never hide from Sadie because Jade is always by her side, reporting back to big sister.
But Kate's decision to leave her daughter Lila Grace at home with her dad Jefferson Hack this week meant Jade didn't have to travel to Ibiza - so Kate's free to do as she pleases.

Moss's lyrics to appear on Pete's new LP

rocker PETE DOHERTY had a little help on his latest album - from ex-girlfriend KATE MOSS. The supermodel revealed last week (ends03Aug07) she had aspirations of becoming a lead singer in a band had her catwalk career not taken off, and she proved her talents on Doherty's much-hyped new record by penning most of the words to Babyshambles song You Talk. He reveals, "I wrote that with Kate sat in bed. I was just trying to impress her and in the end she changed a lot of the words and it found its way onto the album." The band's as-yet-untitled album is due for release in October (07).

Kate Moss's fragrance

kateperfume%20copy.jpg

Supermodel Kate Moss has now added another string to her bow. The London based Moss has now created her fragrance simply called 'Kate'.
The marketing of this fragrance has Kate wandering around a corn field in her smalls, trying to embody an earthy free spirit, and give us the impression of a delicate wildflower..with thorns. the perfume itself comes in an attractive glass bottle with inviting pink liquid, and has head notes of orange blossom absolute, forget me not and pink pepper. It's heart notes are lily of the valley, heliotrope and magnolia with base notes including patchouli, sandalwood and ambret seeds.

YOU LITTLE SPHINX

British artist Marc Quinn is dusting off designs for his naked, yoga-contorted sculpture of Kate Moss, which toured the Netherlands last year, to create a new version for display in the UK. A three-metre high version of Myth (Sphinx) will be crafted of white-painted bronze to sit alongside pieces by Zaha Hadid, Ron Arad and a video installation by Israeli photographer Michal Rovner at the upcoming Beyond Limits sale of modern and contemporary sculpture at Chatsworth House in Derbyshire. Quinn - famed for his controversial sculpture Alison Lapper Pregnant, which currently resides in Trafalgar Square – claims Moss embodies the perfect modern muse. "There must be something about her that has clicked with the collective unconscious to make her so ubiquitous, so spirit-of-the-age," he explains. Alex Platon, a specialist in modern art at Sotheby's, agrees the sculpture packs a punch. "Myth (Sphinx) is a blow-away piece: she has a completely mesmerising, Medusa-like effect," he tells today's G2. "It is a real testament to the compelling, tantalising, power of beauty." Im not that interested myself. Ive never bought a "celebrity" perfume [although I had a free sample of SJP's first sent which was alright]. Of course Il'll have a sniff when I go by a counter but I doubt I'll buy it.
