I don't know if anyone else has noticed but as I was flipping through November's Harper's Bazaar, I came upon the Valentino Rockn'Rose Parfum ad and thought it was rather beautiful and very Valentino... but yet all too familiar~ While I was looking through my "katethegreat" archives, look what I ran into!

It's incredibly similar... to the smallest details (positioning)! Or is it just me??!!

its not unusual for iconic photos to be reproduced and reshot for adverts or editorials but it is unusual to use such a recent photo such as this. It doesnt have iconic status either so it all just seem lazy on the photographer and advertisers part. I think they were shot by the same photographer too but still...

plus, this pic was released not so long before the advertisment. basiclly, this is the same pic with different model, and more pink and rose tones.

have u seen what converse did?
they used kate's GOD SAVE THE QUEEN famous pic, well, it is all the same only in b/w and it is a different model.

I think they shot that valentino advertise for more than a year ago.
Mona Johannesson, who's the model, has often been spoken of as the new Kate Moss, because they have the same facial features. I just guess that they had that in mind when they made the shoot.

I think the original is alot better. The setting, lighting and everything is much more beautiful than Valentino's.

If we can tell anything about Kate's personality it's that she is very confident.

i would say she's not very confident at all...she's hardly ever on her own, she seems to rely alot on other people, she always needs a man in her life, she has an addictive nature...that shows that she's very insecure...
she might be confident in the way she dresses, but shes been a model for such a long time...
anyway..
love the outfit in the new candids...not very fond of the jacket but her legs look stunning in those pants!
