i think her cut-offs are too short, too. more because of the rest of the outfit than anything. this very light denim color really works for kate but she could have worn them with a tunic and a belt, and flats, à la anita pallenberg like she used to, because they wouldn't look so "obviously" short as they are looking now i think... and the butterfly shades aren't her best choice either, they are fabulous but they're not working for her...

I think they are fine especially because from the top up she's rocking a mumsy kinda look
I'm glad she didn't team it with predictable tunic, belt, flats and wayfarers.
This is why I love her, she never leaves me bored.
