I don't understand how anyone can look at old pics vs new and not think she has lost the plot a little. She still knows how to put together a look but she isn't ahead of the curve the way she always used to be. That is just a fact.
I blame Topshop. She has gotten used to letting things hit the runways first then wearing them.

I agree with you too, brokenenglish unfortunately. But it's something you just can't deny.
I love her also because Kate was the one who really got me started with fashion, in general. A couple of years ago I knew who she was and stuff but I wasn't "into" clothes so much. I must have seen her Pete-era candids at some point, and I remember thinking "Damn. Look at this woman. I must have never understood anything about clothes!!"
She really was hot stuff

i don't get how people here read some posts and get things completley wrong, but i guess that's what you have to expect here....
anyway some of her more recent pics...you can really tell that even as some of you say has change so much in her style, she really sticks with many of her signature outfits....yes, sometimes, are stunning, sometimes, are just great or good, but so very rarely so that you can call it a bad outfit

I agree with you!
I look at the old thread often and it is filled with the same kind of remarks as the new one-"oh my god what is she wearing, she has lost it"
And they happen to be outfits that she is now heralded for!

Kate has never been a crazy dresser, in fact she often wears little more than jeans and a jacket so I think that maybe it is not her that has changed, but the fashion appetite of the masses.

while i totally agree with brokenenglish and think that what she said is a fact, i also agree with ladyflash. kate doesn't seem to care very much whether she's pleasing her "public" or not and, well, she's right i suppose?
anyway, i was thinking, the august issue of vogue paris will be the inez & vinoodh issue, and since she worked with them for that gorgeous vogue nippon cover i wonder if maybe they also shot her for VP...? so far, the rumours only mention sessilee lopez, an asian "rising star" and a recent cover girl, but i think kate could be in that issue too, or in the next, since I&V are always shooting for VP... although if there's something i'd really like to see, more than that, would be kate shot by alasdair mclellan - he just shot a UK vogue cover with julianne moore (and a beautiful ed with lara stone before that) and i think they could do an amazing job together, not necessarily for vogue of course... i just want more print work, actually. an a bit of novelty.

just because she sticks to her signature style that doesn't mean she loses the plot. i remember ppl complaining about Emmanuelle Alt style when she basically wears the same topshop gray jeans, same black boots with different Balmain jacket to fashion shows. they talk about how boring/unoriginal her style is, blah blah blah. my observation is that ppl expect more from their icons so they want to see something new, something daring from their outfits but if their muse repeat to wear the same thing over and over again, they're disappointed. LuLover has a great point here. it's not Kate or Emmanuelle's problem, it's ppl who're tired to see signature outfits.

Hey style definitely isn't like it used to be. I've noticed in many of the more recent photos that most of her black clothes look really old and faded! I hope shes buys some new ones soon and wears them like she used to!

I'm also looking forward to seeing her new pregnant outfits. She looked adorable when she was pregnant the first time around.

BTW: Where is the old Kate Moss thread? I just returned to The Fashion Spot and realised there aren't many photos of her in this thread.
