Kate Moss - posting requires reading thread rules, see post #1

wow, she looks great for once in that Stella dress!

I mean after the Costume Institute Gala, I had lost all hope, but here she looks fantastic from head to toe - the hair, the legs, the skin... Lovely!!!

OMG, I just love the new pictures with James Brown, I can't wait for HQs

I think the dress is kind of tarty as well. It reminds me of a dress Britney Spears wore to the VMAs years ago.

I think it was Ladyflash who said Kate has been looking permanently drunk lately and I am starting to agree.

Lol, should we be worried?

I won't describe the dress as tarty myself though, as my twin sister has the exact same one :innocent:

does anyone know who makes those dark denim pleated shorts she was wearing at nice airport with the steve madden bangelez sandals? ;)

i want to know it too. she seems to have best collection of denim shorts.

thanks for the pic RNA, i have been scouring the internet for similar ones: that are pleated and have belt loops; that are baggy but not high-waisted.

sigh, she does have great shorts... never mind the legs to wear them!

emma peel, i did the same too. i've searched all the shopping websites to find a similar pair like hers.

Tracking The Kate Moss Effect At The Resort Collections
June 24, 2009 4:36 pm

The notion that Kate Moss sparks trends is hardly new—see pirate boots, cutoffs, vintage dresses on the red carpet, etc. And it seems the supermodel’s innate style is more compelling than ever for designers as well as consumers. Case in point: the Gloria Swanson-channeling look she dreamed up with Marc Jacobs to wear to the Costume Institute Gala in May. A line-for-line copy made an appearance in Jacobs’ Resort collection, and we’ve glimpsed its shadow several times throughout the Cruise season—in the use of lamé at Roksanda Ilincic and Chris Benz and in the shimmering one-shoulder silhouettes at Michael Kors and Alexander Wang. And then there’s her turban, a version of which turned up at Yigal Azrouël topping a draped wrap dress—minus the Harry Winston sapphire, of course. Whether it’s all a case of direct homage or just something in the air, Kate as usual was the first to distill the mood.

Anyone brave enough to open a salon in the midst of a recession might have a few worries about finding clients.
But James Brown need have no such concerns, after enlisting his friend Kate Moss to open his new venture.

Brown hails from Kate's native Croydon and has been her friend since meeting her on the London train as a teenager.

He has been credited with creating some of her most copied hairstyles and her seal of approval for his new business is sure to encourage style spotters to follow.

At last night's opening Kate wore a short black lace dress. The lace was transparent on the sleeves, revealing the delicate pattern, but lined in black fabric on the body.

You owe me a free haircut: Kate gives James a hug

She teamed this with simple black court shoes and a loose blazer.

The 35-year-old model wrapped her arms around Brown and whispered into his ear, before posing in a seat as he pretended to style her blonde hair.
Kate isn't Brown's only celebrity friend.

Time out: Kate and friends enjoy a drink outside the salon

When he celebrated his birthday last year Princess Beatrice, Rhys Ifans, Sophie Ellis Bextor, Jo Wood, Kelly Osbourne, Kimberley Stewart and Jennie Frost were among the revellers.

the weirdest thing is her skin in the candid is far better than her event (on this page). i always love her in pale. i don't understand how she likes to use tan foundation at events. pale skin makes her look young but tan skin ages her.
