Kate Moss cheers on Blur's Parklife and enjoys a post-gig trip to the local curry house
03rd July 2009

Kate Moss kept cool in the soaring temperatures as Blur made their "spiritual" homecoming in Hyde Park.
Chic in a pair of hotpants and knee high boots, the supermodel, 35, and her boyfriend Kills guitarist Jamie Hince joined 55,000 other fans at the gig last night.

Curry lover: Kate Moss showed her support for reformed Blur at their Hyde Park Gig and stopped off her a curry after the show near her house

Kate and boyfriend Jamie watched from the side of the stage, along with producer Mark Ronson and film director Terry Gilliam, as Blur kicked off a two-night run with their debut single She's So High.
Fresh off the back of their set that closed Glastonbury on Sunday, frontman Damon Albarn told the crowd that playing in the park was their "spiritual comeback", adding:
'When we first thought maybe it would be a good idea to do some gigs, the first thing we did was to book this place.'

Back in town: Blur performed all their hits in London's Hyde Park
The reunited band - Albarn, bassist Alex James, lead guitarist Graham Coxon and drummer Dave Rowntree - played a two-hour set that included Girls & Boys, Country House and Song 2.
They then launched into their breakthrough hit Parklife, featuring an appearance on stage by former EastEnders actor Phil Daniels, who narrated the 1994 track.
And Albarn revealed that the setting for the evening had inspired the song. ' had the idea for this song in this park,' he said.
'I used to come into the park and watch the people and the pigeons and all that stuff."

oh Alex James *sigh*

I love the layering Kates got going on. I personally prefer when Kate channels her inner bohemian rather than rock chic.
