Kate Moss heads up the Pink Ladies at the Grease-themed birthday bash
on 02nd October 2009
She's always been leader of the fashion pack. So Kate Moss didn't have to work too hard to turn herself into one of the tough-talking Pink Ladies.
In skin-tight pink leggings, black leather jacket, silk scarf and a Fifties quiff, the model presided over a Grease-themed birthday party for hairstylist and reality star James Brown last night.
There was plenty of pink, leather and Lycra on display as celebrities arrived at London's Home House club.

While Kate appeared to have been inspired by Michelle Pfeiffer's look in Grease 2, ex-Atomic Kitten Jenny Frost turned to Olivia Newton-John's Sandy for her costume. That's Sandy after her transformation from sweet schoolgirl.
Even Meg Mathews got into the spirit with a pink wig, Pink Ladies satin jacket and leather trousers.

No fancy dress for Lily Allen, who arrived after attending another party (although she did bring one of her Chanel handbags)
Model and socialite Alice Dellal's effort was a pink 50s-style skirt, leather jacket and white T-bar shoes.
Birthday boy James Brown, who is starring in a documentary called James' Salon to be screened on October 13, dressed as geeky Eugene from the film with slicked-back hair in a red cardigan, bow-tie and socks pulled up to his cut-off trousers.
At one point during the party several police vans and an unmarked police car arrived after a report of an assault. But they left quickly, according to onlookers, and the party continued to rock.

Others at the party appeared to have made less effort, with Sadie Frost arriving in a black satin pencil skirt and blouse, and David Walliams opting for a black leather jacket and black jeans (but perhaps he was going for the T-Bird look).
Lily Allen didn't go for fancy dress as she had arrived from a Diesel U Music World Tour Party at the University of Westminster. In black leather jacket and skirt, she fitted right in though.
