oh my god, why so analyzing, it's Kate, she know what she's doing when she's putting on an outfit..and i myself don't like fishnetts but here they work , because they give a bit edgier look for Glast...and looks great..you either like the outfit or you don+t...taking piecies off it, it's just not that outfit anymore..so make up your mind...

I for myself totally dig it. It's a festival for god's sake. Those come with dirt. And filth, well usually.

^they are like veterans/oldies at this event ;) i mean the average age is like 22 so they are allowed to dress a bit different!

Is that Mick Jones in the last pictures?!...wasn't he also in that infamous video :ninja:

^ she is dressed like a 22 yr old though
I don't think she looks bad. It's hard for a hot chick to look bad in daisy dukes,
but I do miss the days she set the festival trends instead of followed them.

yeah but i meant putting on a show dressing wanna-be cool being older it can happen and they look a bit like oldies - the 22-year-olds often come up with more weird, individual stuff for festivals that's why i said that they look like they try-hard...

i love Kate but sometimes i feel like her time is running up and that makes me sad...i don't know - i remember her as this young new model and me being younger than her looking at her like this big model and now well, yeah she will always be Kate but seeing someone famous getting older in front of you is sometimes difficult because you see this person and than instantly subconciously you know that you are aging as well - not being the 15-year-old looking at her wanting to be her but rather being older in your 20's yourself and seeing her well, looking different and all...she is not so effortlessly chic anymore and quirky, sometimes i get the feeling like she desperately wants to hang on to old times...and i don't like having that feeling about her

Sorry, but it's very depressing to read your comment - I'm the same age as Kate and I can tell you that we feel exactly the same at 25 than we feel at 35; I mean our taste in 'things' is pretty the same.. and especially if your style does not changed too..I mean, Kate is still really pretty, and she is quite free to dress like she want! .. why always negative comments when it comes to women getting older!??!...and even more coming from a young woman. I hope you change your mind at 35, and feel free to dress like you feel to.

I'm young but I can appreciate how ageist this thread is. I wonder if the young girls that critisise will hold themselves to these standards when they are Kates age?? I doubt it..... 35 is not old and she is in great shape so why not wear what she likes??

Sorry Jomarlushka but your comment is pretty arrogent-watching her age should be inspiring not saddening, everybody ages and life is for living which Kate does with vigor!

^Boring and common outfit but but she always has that attitude like no others .

Well I'm just a few years younger than Kate, and I have to admit i was expecting more of her style wise as she got older. Kate didn't used to have a "trade mark", she was inspiring to me because she always marched at the sound of her own drum, and her fashion choices were unexpected.
Now she's clearly stuck in the Ultimate rock groupie look, yes it was the look that gave her the success than she now enjoys in popular culture, and at the Doherty time sometimes she looked breathtaking, but there is always the risk she will turn into a relic of a certain time. And I always thought that Kate was too vibrant for that.

And well Thank God people do change, I agree with you that you won't start hating the things you used to like just because you are older, but I do hope I'm not the same now as I was a 25. I developed, learned thing, an absorbed a world of influences. All of that i hope is reflected on myself.

Of course Kate is very very pretty and her body is still really young, she can wear those clothes. And of course she can dress whatever she wants, but this is a forum about style, and Kate for me used to be inspiring, certainly not anymore.

I agree with you Les_Sucettes.
i always love the way she looks and the way she wears clothes but she doesn't really inspire me anymore neither, excepting a few times...
anyway she has already inspired us enough for an entire life right ?!^^

Yes, I understand all you say...and I agree for most of it...but Kate is Kate, and she is not gonna transform her style into a kind of Audrey Hepburn because she is aging..she stay what she are...and maybe at 35 she just spend most of her time doing other things than think to innove in her style everyday. I just find that talking about her style as much as we do here it's sometimes SO superficial...we should talk a little bit more about feeling good in our body!:flower:
