Video of Kate is being used in an attempt to change US paparazzi laws.

WATCH: Kate Moss, Daughter Mobbed By Paparazzi At LAX
by Verena von Pfetten | 4:01 pm, September 1st, 2010

We’re not sure why exactly we find this video of Kate Moss being hounded by paparazzi at LAX so heart-wrenching. Maybe it’s the relentless flashes, or the look of sheer fear on the normally subdued Moss’ face. Or maybe its the fact that poor Lila Grace is stuck in the middle of it, but one thing is for sure: it’s not for the faint of heart.
According to The Star, the video is Exhibit A in a campaign to toughen California’s laws against paparazzi.
Passed with a 43-13 vote on Tuesday, the new law, once it’s signed by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, would fine photographers up to $5,000 if they break traffic laws or interfere with the operation of a celebrity’s car. They could also face a year in jail.
As Racked sagely points out, “Yesterday’s bill passed 13 years to the day that Princess Diana was killed in a car accident on a Paris road while being pursued by paparazzi.”

This law only applies to paparazzi's traffic violations, so it would still make what happened in that Kate Moss video legal. :(

I know-I can't believe that they would behave so aggressively while there is a child around...it must be frightening for her.

Here's the video, don't know if it was posted. It's so sad. LA paps seem so agressive and scary...maybe the England ones aren't that bad? Still...it's sad they have to be so pushy and desperate to the point of being dangerous...all for a few bucks?

In LA a lot of the paps are ex gang members. This is a great article.

The second saddest thing about that video is that I could not even see what she was wearing...

ohmigod!!!! That's horrible  I feel for Kate and Lila..it's impossible for anyone to stop the paps...they're like hungry animals

^my feelings exactly. I was chocked by that video, the paps really looked like wild beasts!!! :(

^ Now they are saying there is a new law that would put these morons in jail for doing stuff like that!!
