Kate Moss will soon be heading a new social scene in a different part of North London after buying an £8million mansion in the same neighbourhood as Jude Law and Sienna Miller.
The Croydon-born blonde, who was 37 on Sunday, is said to be embracing a healthy new lifestyle following her previous excesses and looked in sparkling form as she joined friends for dinner on Thursday night.
Her new home has seven bedrooms, a wine cellar and a 125ft garden. It is listed as ‘under offer’ and the owner said: ‘I don’t know when she will be moving in as it hasn’t gone through yet.’
Miss Moss recently returned from a ‘rejuvenating resort’ in Thailand. A friend said that moving house with rock musician Jamie Hince and her eight-year-old daughter Lila Grace was part of an attempt to grow up and move on from her old ways.
‘Kate was completely fed up with her old house. She wanted to get out of there and the new house is beautiful. She is friendly with Jude and has been asking him about the area. He has been a big help to her.
‘Kate wants a fresh start and she is keen to have more children. This will be a fantastic family home.’
Miss Moss will join a number of famous names to have deserted the notorious celebrity enclave. They include model and fashion designer Pearl Lowe and her husband, drummer Danny Goffey. They moved to Frome, Somerset.
Noel Gallagher and wife Sara MacDonald moved out of their home, Supernova Heights, and now spend the majority of their time at their country house in Buckinghamshire.
Miss Moss moved to her current home in 2007.
In May last year, three valuable pieces of artwork were taken during a break-in.

Days later an estimated £100,000 damage was caused when water pipes burst in the basement, destroying furniture, her shoe collection and priceless photographs.
The house is on the market for £10million. That would represent a £2million profit for Miss Moss, who also owns a rural retreat in the Cotswolds.
The Mail told last month how Law and Miss Miller had bought a £7million home in North London, sparking speculation that they will soon be married.
