Supermodel Kate Moss' is reportedly inspired by 1920s party girl Zelda Fitzgerald.
Kate's fiance Jamie Hince is said to have spent ages trying to find an original worn by Zelda, the wife of writer F. Scott Fitzgerald, who is famous for her hell-raising lifestyle, but eventually had to have a copy made.
The 37-year-old was spotted wearing the band at a London concert this week.
A source told British newspaper The Sun: 'Jamie went to great lengths to bowl Kate over with the ring. It couldn't be any old sparkler, and he knows how fascinated she is by Zelda.'
It has also been reported that Moss could get hitched in Paris where the Fitzgeralds lived.
The source added: 'The big 'kapow' moment between them happened in Paris. They see it as their place.
'She knows Zelda spent a lot of time there and, in the spirit of the ring, Kate is talking about having the whole wedding themed around the 1920s. She wants a vintage gown and that will avoid offending anyone by picking one particular designer.'

It's not often that Kate Moss gets it wrong in the fashion stakes - but we don't think this is one ensemble that will be catching on.
But this trendsetter couldn't have looked less like the stylish and chic supermodel we all know and love her for as she went out for lunch yesterday.
Kate, 37, looked more like an old bag lady as she dined at The Wolseley in central London.

Miss Moss was snapped leaving the restaurant in a long pink creation that looked like she'd left her dressing gown on.
She teamed the dress with a black furry gilet and Louboutin boots that looked like they'd seen better days.

It was certainly unusual to see the normally chic and stylish Kate dressed in such a way.
Maybe it was her washing day and the mismatched outfit was all she had clean.
Or maybe she is trying out a number of new styles ahead of her upcoming wedding.
She clearly likes the dress very much as she kept it on all day and even wore it as she went out for dinner at an Indian restaurant near her London home.

Kate recently got engaged to her rocker boyfriend Jamie Hince and the couple are believed to be planning a summer wedding.
Jamie, 42, asked Miss Moss's father for the model's hand before finally getting down on one knee last week.
And according to The Sun today, The Kills star got the ring designed to look like the one that 1920s party girl Zelda Fitzgerald.
He is believed to have spent months hunting for the ring which belonged to Zelda, the wife of author F. Scott Fitzgerald who wrote Kate's favourite book, The Beautiful and the Damned.
But after an unsuccessful search, Jamie instead got in contact with a museum in Alabama, which sent sketches of the ring to him so he could get it copied.

But unlike some brides who stick to a strict regime in preparation for their big day, she’s not showing any sign of it.

And on Monday night, she was seen rocking out to Roxy Music on the last night of their For Your Pleasure tour in London on Monday night, which celebrated the band's 40th anniversary.
She was a special guest of the band, fronted by Bryan Ferry, after she posed for the cover of his latest album Olympia.
