not sure if this info has already been posted, but the styling is by Andrew Richardson:
vogue.globo.comThe photoshoot took place at Santos Yacht Club, in Higienopolis, Sao Paulo, this thursday evening. This was not, really, a typical day of shooting: the international - and national - team's emotion when meeting the King was so much that it took over the set.
Everyone bought Brazil soccer shirts and asked for his autograph. Only Kate carried six! One of them for her brother, another one for Jamie Hince – at least.
Kate was so, so excited in seeing Pelé that she asked to take pictures with him, danced with him and acted as a fan shamelessly [couldn't find a better word, in the article it isn't meant to sound pejorative]. Testino's rule that forbids personal pictures on set was completely broken: whoever wanted registered the moment on their cell phones. Top stylist Andrew Richardson, who is styling the editorial, ended his work saying this was the best day of his life.
And the King? He loved it too. “I've already been photographed by the most important photographers in the world. Mario Testino was missing”, he said to Candé Salles's lenses, who was personally invited by Testino to do a documentary on this shoot specially made for Vogue Brazil.
In the end, Pelé gave an interview to Rede Globo's Fantástico, about Ronaldo's retirement. Kate didn't calm down. She waited until the end of the interview, went to him again and invited him to a drink later. Who would have imagined that?
