Does anyone know the difference between the Kate Moss Book of 1995 and the edition of 1997? From what I can see there are two different editions but does anyone know if they are exactly the same or not? Thanks a lot

I remade Kate Moss's wedding shoes FIVE times: Manolo Blahnik on the perfectionist supermodel's bridezilla moment
on 22nd August 2011

Kate Moss recently confessed to Vogue magazine that she turned into a 'bridezilla' ahead of her wedding to Jamie Hince. And now, musings from Manolo Blahnik hint at just what a perfectionist the supermodel became before her July nuptials.
Talking to Women's Wear Daily Manolo Blahnik, who customised a pair of his Godichefac sandals with crystals and blue insoles for Kate to wear with her John Galliano wedding gown, said his staff worked through the night to get them just right.
'We did them five times to get them the way she wanted,' he said in the interview with WWD.

Perfect fit: Manolo Blahnik customised shoes for Kate Moss' wedding day with blue insoles and crystals :woot:

'My workers are the best people. I wouldn’t be here without them.
'The shoes arrived the day before and there were too many jewels on the heel because of the long train, so we had women working up until midnight to change it.
The designer attended the wedding, which he said was 'divine'.
'I’ve known Kate since she was a little girl,' he said. The wedding was divine. Kate has such a presence. You just have to feel it.'
Mr Blahnik had plenty to say about another of the nation's favourite Kates too, as he reflected on Kate Middleton's wedding to Prince William.

Determined: Shoe designer Manolo Blahnik tells how he redesigned Kate Moss's shoes five times until they were perfect

While he wasn't involved with the design of the royal bride's shoes - that honour went to Sarah Burton - the circumspect designer says he nonetheless enjoyed the occasion immensely.
‘I love pomp and circumstance, and I’m very respectful of tradition,' he said. 'Kate and William are great for England. They are so popular, and that will help the country during troubled times. They will bring in a lot of money.
'It’s nice to see them grow up, but it’s kind of depressing because you realise so much time has passed. I remember William running around at Kensington Palace with his mother.’

Delicate: Manolo Blahnik's style is for feminine, sweet shoes - something which is in great demand this season after several years where the platform dominated

In the interview the designer - famous for his delicate, feminine approach to heels - expressed his pleasure that the trend for the extreme platform shoes that have dominated the fashion scene for so long was coming to an end.
The coming season's trend is for ladylike heels with slimline soles and a gentle pointed toe - which can only be a good thing for the designer, who steadfastly refused to change his signature style and is now seeing demand for his shoes soar.
His fall collection is, he says, 'sweet, so feminine and new.'
'Those 'furniture' shoes are finally over, or starting to be,' he said of the trend for the impossibly vertiginous heel.
But while enthusiastic about the future, Blahnik was reluctant to agree it was 'his time'.
'I never had a perception about whether it's my time or someone else's time,' Blahnik told WWD. 'I don't think I have a time.'
'I just do what I like to do. I've never been into money or fame. Things just seem to happen.'

Buy Kate Moss’ Old Clothes At New Site Hardly Ever Worn It

By Hayley Phelan Tuesday, Aug 23, 2011 / 5:15 PM

If you’re like us, you’ve probably wished at one point or another (or like, every single minute of the day) that you could take the clothes right off of Kate Moss‘s back.
Well, now is your chance. Sort of.
The newlywed and style icon is giving some of her vintage clothes to new site Hardly Ever Worn It, to be sold to the highest bidder! But don’t get too excited–the site is for “HIGH VALUE, LUXURY LABELS ONLY” (emphasis theirs) and the pricetags are pretty steep– there’s a £3,000 Fendi mink coat up for grabs now.
Kate’s pals Sadie Frost and Topshop Owner Sir Phillip Green’s daughter, Chloe Green, will also be giving their stuff to the site to sell. A source told the UK newspaper The Mail on Sunday that “Chloe sent a car load of her shoes in a limousine, many of which were still in their boxes,” so you can expect some amazing never-been-worn shoes to start popping up on the site soon.
Celebrity sellers aside, Hardly Ever Worn It is a pretty smart idea–like a high-end eBay where you know all the goods are legit and gently (or never) used. And most importantly, it means you could say you share clothes with Kate Moss.
Be on the lookout for gorgeous capes, silky floor-length gowns and rock n’ roll leather jackets.

Newlywed Kate Moss shows no sign of toning things down as she goes topless for Pirelli calendar

She might be a married woman, but that isn't stopping Kate Moss doing what she does best.
The 37-year-old model is seen posing topless for the famous Pirelli calendar in a photoshoot which took place just weeks before she married rocker Jamie Hince this summer.
Mother-of-one Kate is seen with just a sheet to protect her modesty as she poses for photographer Mario Sorrenti.

Tone things down? No way! Newlywed Kate Moss is seen posing topless for the 2012 Pirelli calendar
The pictures were given to Italian Vanity Fair as part of a sneak preview of the famous calendar which will be officially launched in New York in December.
Kate and eleven other stunning models were flown to Murtoli on the Mediterranean island of Corsica for the week long assignment.
Locations used included abandoned old farmhouses as well as the blue seawater with backdrops of rocky outcrops - with security guards keeping onlookers at bay to stop sneaky pictures being taken.

By coincidence Sorrenti is an old boyfriend of Kate and he photographer her several times during the 1990's for the designer Calvin Klein and the two have remained close friends despite splitting up.

Daring: Kate is seen with just a tiny pair of knickers protecting her modesty in one of the shots

Among the other beauties included in the calendar are Ukranian actress Milla Jovovich and Dutch model Saskia de Brauw - the only one to pose totally naked for the shoot.

An insider on the set said: 'It was a fantastic assignment with the emphasis really being placed on feminine beauty and the pictures are fabulous the girls look really, really sexy.'
Unlike last year's edition which had a theme of Greek and Roman mythology, the idea for the 2012 calendar was to underline natural female beauty.

The Pirelli calendar has been going for more than 40 years and is a limited edition publication given to special VIPs only – with Prince Andrew a regular recipient.

It is the second time that Kate has appeared in the Pirelli calendar.

Has she only appeared in Pirelli once before? I would have thought she'd be in it more.

PHOTOS: See Kate Moss Like You’ve Never Seen Her Before

by Verena von Pfetten | 10:03 am, August 24th, 2011
Corinne Day, the photographer credited with discovering Kate Moss, passed away just under a year ago today. And in honor of her career, the Gimpel Fils gallery in London is putting on a retrospective of her work, featuring some of her most iconic images as well as a host of unpublished photos. Nowness has a sampling, which includes three never-before-seen pictures of a young Moss as Corinne then saw her.
Nowness also spoke to Phil Bicker, the art director who first commissioned Day to shoot Moss for iconic glossy The Face in 1990. Here’s what he had to say about their relationship and these photos:
Basically, Kate was Corinne—she was the perfect muse. Corinne had been a model and she saw herself in Kate. She worked with Kate to realize things she hadn’t realized about herself, and molded Kate into something that was actually a reflection of her. In those early days with Kate, the pictures were almost like the days of innocence—in a way it became a lot more contrived later on. The early pictures are the best.
They are indeed.
