Call me old fashioned, cos it is true.

Well, I might be one of the very few who do not like this Versace campaign.
For me it is everything that is wrong with a lot of campaigns and quite a lot of fashion photographers nowadays. The real human beauty is hidden by so many tricks and artificial colours and stupid background. There is no real substance or drama, it is like a farce.
Most of Kate's photos in the campaign shown below remotely look like her, her face having been so retouched.

It is like a bad tacky Cavalli campaign. God knows there were (and still is) a few!

^I think that sense of Tackiness and Excess is what summarizes the brands DNA along with a sense of Glamour.

In this day and age campaigns that aren't retouched within an inch of their lives are few and far between so I think it's just one of those things people have to come to terms with.

I find Kate's shots the best within the campaign and considering she has most of the shots I find Daria and Joan's presence a little redundant, but I think it was a way of pleasing the audience, but the campaign has to be my favorite this season.

I love the pieces she is wearing in those candids, and I like seeing her in becoming neutrals.

Yellow-facing then. I peeked into the Joan Smalls topic and saw she's featured in them too, so maybe it's not that. Also, my new HB had one of the ads in it, so I was able to take a closer look at it. It didn't scan well. Cuz it doesn't look like 'excessive amounts of spray tan' at first glance.

She may be about to turn 39, but Kate Moss still gets excited like a child at the sight of snow.
The model was caught up in a flurry of the white stuff in North London on Monday.
But luckily for her, she had wrapped up well for the weather allowing her to enjoy the white downfall.

Wearing a thick fur coat, skinny jeans and chunky flat boots, Kate was flanked by two friends looking just as snug.
However, ever the style icon, the mother-of-one wore a grey fedora hat, which did well to keep the falling snow out of her eyes.
The model is no doubt relishing the opportunity to experience the proper winter weather before jetting off to California for her birthday.

Escape: For her birthday, the model will be taken to Napa Valley by her husband Jamie Hince

Wrapped up: Kate and her friends were clearly prepared for the snowy weather and she kept her face clear in a grey fedora

Her husband Jamie Hince has booked a week’s wine-tasting break in Napa Valley to celebrate her hitting 39 on Wednesday this week.
However she won't be off straight away, as they will need to wait until the weather gets warm to get to enjoy the full vineyard experience.
A source told the Sun: 'Jamie has been busy sorting out lots of special treats for Kate’s birthday, including a trip for them to visit several wine-tasting lodges in the Napa Valley.
