She always looke 10 years older in DMs pictures. This is not news. They don't care about choosing nice looking ones. The more haggard she looks, the better it is for business. They choose the ones with the worst light, when she is blinking and making some kind of face.

DM seems to despise Kate.
But imo even with bad, harsh light she looks amazing. It is all about her bone structure.

Personally I think she just used a too light face powder and it caked into her fine lines and distorted her face with the unflattering lights, which is obviously why the DM ran the pics. They're very quick to remind us that Kate is almost 40! ugh.

Kate Moss Rejoins Topshop After 2-Year Hiatus

When Kate Moss designed her first Topshop collection in 2007, the line completely sold out on the first day. Three years, fourteen collections, and countless one-shoulder minidresses later, Moss "took a break" from the collaboration, purportedly to "work on other projects," although insiders said it was actually because her products weren't selling as well as they had initially. But Moss was, in fact, spreading her name around — since Topshop, she's collaborated on bags for Longchamp, makeup for Rimmel, and phone accessories for Carphone Warehouse. And today she and Topshop confirmed that they're resuming their relationship for next spring.

Moss met Topshop owner Sir Philip Green in 2006, when he bid £60,000 for a kiss from her at a charity auction (which he later gifted to socialite Jemima Khan), and they've remained good friends since. According to the Telegraph, the idea for Moss's return to the brand was born when she went on vacation with Green and his wife in August. After all, nothing reignites old flames like a few late-night margaritas on the beach.

Here is Green's official comment on the matter:

I am personally thrilled that Kate wanted to come back to Topshop to work with us again... The first time around was such a lot of fun, and she has been sorely missed.
Moss is working with her stylist friend Katy England and Topshop creative director Kate Phelan on a collection for spring 2014, to be out in April of next year.

Oh how great! I knew she couldn't stay away for long.

Really excited to see what she will design this time. Her style has changed a lot since 2007;)

It was pretty much evident with her presence at the Topshop show during LFW, I'm thrilled she's re-joining, not for the products, but for the campaigns we get each season, More Mossy for us.

it's US Vogue April 94, photos by Herb Ritts.

They're shots taken by the makeup artist from the shoot, Francesca Tolot. Here's the interview: (from line-mag.com)
LINE: What inspired these photographs you are sharing?

FRANCESCA: I always liked to capture behind-the-scenes images to hold onto for memories and inspiration. Now, when I’m on set I love to share photos with my friends and followers on Instagram. But back then, I would bring a camera with me to snap photos that I could have as a reminder of a great shoot, and to treasure one of the many wonderful trips I had been on with Herb.

LINE: What was the concept behind this editorial and where did it take place?

FRANCESCA: It was an editorial for US Vogue, titled “Sheer & Shine.” Wardrobe consisted of slips, and the story revolved around the beauty of the beach, with the girls in very natural makeup, reflecting the organic nature of the water and sand. The shoot was on a little island off the coast where we were staying in Anguilla. Each morning we took a boat to location, and then headed back to get together for dinner and leave the island life.

LINE: What was it like working with a young Kate Moss?

FRANCESCA: Young Kate was fun, funny, full of life, confident, entertaining, and very professional. She had gorgeous skin and I loved her freckles. I didn’t have to use much makeup! She was like sunshine, and very refreshing to work with. On this particular shoot she was enjoying her freedom on the beach. She was authentic and comfortable with her self. She did not have to impersonate, pose, or overdo anything. Modeling came very naturally for her. I knew the moment we began shooting that Kate had all the characteristics to become the icon she is today.

LINE: Tell us about working with the man behind the lens, Herb Ritts:

FRANCESCA: He was a friend of mine. We worked together for years and years, and always had a great time together. He was creative, with an amazing sense of style and taste. He truly had an incredible eye, and I loved everything about working with him. He had this ability to bring everyone together on set and make it feel like we were simply a group of friends on vacation. We had a wonderful time creating beautiful images, collaborating on all sorts of ideas and tricks, just doing what we loved. This goes for all of the jobs I did with Herb.

LINE: What can you tell us about Amber Valletta and Bridget Hall?

FRANCESCA: Amber was gorgeous, with amazing eyes and lips. Bridget was also a natural beauty. I love seeing where these girls are today, they are just as stunning as they were back then. I was excited to see Bridget in a recent Rag & Bone ad, and very happy about her Prabal Gurung campaign.

LINE: What were the vibes on set for this shoot?

FRANCESCA: The dynamic between the girls was great. The three of them were friends, young and full of life. There was no negativity or any attitude – they were appreciative, humble and joyful to be around. Herb always created an environment where you didn’t feel like you were working. Everybody was respectful of one another, and that’s how the shoot came together so organically. Nobody was distracted by their personal lives or focused on their cell-phones. We were all enjoying one another’s company, everyone enthusiastic over capturing the magic of the moment.
