Leah Wood and Kate Moss sang along and danced up a storm at a packed performance in London by rockers The Charlatans on Wednesday. The evening was a family affair with Leah's dad, Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood, joining the band in a guest capacity for the evening.
Leah and chum Kate obviously appreciated the vibe as they boogied the night away to a lively extended set by the band. And it's not just the musical arts which supermodel Kate is a fan of. She recently had a portrait of herself painted by Ronnie's brother-in-law, Paul Karslake, and shelled out £6,000 for a hologram of Mick Jagger.
Ronnie was already in Christmas spirit mode. After a series of equipment problems marred the first few songs of the set, the 57-year-old guitarist announced the outfit would re-play the songs.
"I want you all to have a good show so we'll do it again," he quipped, putting his money where his mouth is by picking up the £20,000 tab to keep staff on past the 11pm curfew.
The show was part of a special series of gigs entitled Hero2Hero which offer contemporary musicians a chance to perform with their musical heroes.
