I don't think she was dieting or working out when she was younger but with the chain smoking, alcohol and the drugsshe didn't need to. Without them she would never have been that "naturally" waifish.
I remember that after Lila's birth she was said to be dieting and working out. She went to thailand with Sadie and they had a chief appointed to cook special lunch.
Anyway that's what she said in an interview in march 2003 on showstudio :
Harvey Allen, Stroud: Have you ever been on a diet?
Kate Moss: After having Lila, I couldn't have my french toast in my fry-up in the morning. I had to watch what I was eating, after having been eating for two!
Lois Wang, Taiwan: How did you shrink back to your original size after giving birth so quickly?
Kate Moss: I worked out in Thailand a *bit* and watched what I ate a bit, but I didn't make an intensive effort.
Celebrities are human being.It's a shame that they're so reluctant to admit that they diet or work out but the truth is that most of them do so.

Exactly, it's like they want to create this mystique about them, like they are just this way. I even feel like the way she answered the questions in that particular interview tried to de-emphasise that she would actually *have* to do any exercise, even after just having a baby. Unless, of course she is conscious of who may be reading it i.e young impressionable girls so she doesn't want to say she exercised much, if at all.

Kate is going to be in the Stella McCartney for H&M campaign this fall
If any stylish young women are late for work come Nov. 10, they just might be queuing up at H&M.
The Swedish fast-fashion giant expects an extra rush that day, when its one-time Stella McCartney for H&M collection arrives in some 400 of its doors.
The launch, an encore to last year's collaboration with Karl Lagerfeld, will be backed by a major advertising campaign starring Kate Moss wearing items like a hand-embroidered jacket that will be produced in limited quantities.
Andersson said the McCartney label would be stocked in selective locations —only one-third of its vast network — with better quantities of some items mixed in with exclusive pieces like the embroidered jacket. "It should sell out, but not too quickly," he said of the line. "We believe it should be democratic and available to everyone."
To that end, shoppers in 22 countries will be directed via ads or the Internet to locations that stock the collection — with few mall-based locations among them. "The fashion-interested woman tends to buy her fashions downtown," Andersson said.
McCartney's 40-piece collection will be displayed in designated shop-in-shops within H&M stores. Inspired by previous McCartney collections, the greatest hits line will span such items as ankle-zip skinny jeans, tailored suits, gem-toned evening dresses, slouchy sweaters and T-shirts with quirky prints. Prices will be toward the upper end of H&M range, with blouses around 30 euros, or about $38 at current exchange, and coats running up to about 149 euros, or about $187, Andersson said.
"She did a Stella collection. We didn't interfere with the design," he noted.

I HATED that Glastonbury look! In her defense though, the red polka dot dress for her lunch with Jefferson was STELLAR, but I'm in agreement with you for the most part. Most of her recents haven't been so grand... adorefaith

every piece in post #4619 works individually.....
the red is a lovely color...
the shorts are gorgeous....
the belt is a great shape...
and the sandals are FANTASTIC!...
it just looks ill-fitted....
the shirt is tucked in too tight...
the belt a little bit too high, and not sitting right on the shorts...
and the shorts seem pulled up too high....because they're bunching near the crotch....
great potential, and colors....
just seems like it needs some adjusting....

The Glasto look was great on her... and it had that element of surprise that always gets attention to her... it was very "anita pallenberg during her stones days"...
I did like the polka dot dress too... and the leather cape...
but generally, lately she keeps wearing the same things over and over and sometimes not very successfully... like in the latest candids (ugly, cheap looking island-sandals if I may add)... she got us used to constant fabulousness and this is a bit disappointing... nothing that would get me running searching to the shops...

I liked the idea she was going for at Glastonbury Melt, I just wish her shorts had been a tad LONGer. Perhaps like the ones in the latest candids but not baggy. Personally, I just don't care for the "cheeks" in public look... at any age... top model or no

sometimes life just requires a little optimism, curious!.....
its too drab a journey without it.....
i dont want to fall into depression......and if having faith in kate's dressing abilities helps, then damn it i'm going to do so!...

it existed long before it became 'trendy' and was plastered everywhere, and i like to think i can still appreciate it (and hopefully pull it off) when it's authentic and not just another trendy interpretation....

Yes that really bothered me too. That outfit would've looked perfect if the shorts had been longer. It's a shame hotpants made her look sl*tty.Her other outfit the minidress/diaper thing looked bad too.

But having been copied so much, it lacks originality and freshness... unless the person wearing it has a vision with their fashion choices... like yourself

the 'freshness' is terribly hard to find....and thats the biggest shame....
