I just opened up the new Nylon and saw the Calvin ads in person.. And I have to say they just don't do anything for me. I think Kate looks fake... And I was so excited when she signed with Calvin because I thought of the beautiful ads they did when she was younger... But these,

I wouldn't say fake because she wears her hair like that most of the time. The new ads just aren't as effective as the Obsession ones, but what do you want, Kate grew up from being the young awkward anti-supermodel to a real supermodel.

I think Igbette means she is airbrushed into oblivion which is a characteristic of all her recent editorials and adverts. I think her modelling career is over, has been for a while, and I think she knows it too -hence the possibility of designer ranges etc etc. What is the point of seeing digital effects rather than Kate herself. The other possibility is to change her hair colour because the drab colouring she is sporting is doing nothing for her complexion. Maybe go brunette?

What's the best evening dress you've seen Kate wearing over the years? I myself prefer the vintage green Vivienne Westwood dress she wore to V&A exhibition in 2004. Though I like one very simple mini LBD she wore in the end of 90's, and the long black dress she wore to Elton John's White Tie and Tiara Ball in 2005. I'd post pictures, but as reposts aren't (God thank you) allowed, I'll leave that.
