Well yes.. but we all have "party" friends as well as friends, Kate seems friends with everyone at parties I doubt they are friends like Marc and Sofia Coppola.

i was so impressed with the final cost! just a shame about the shipping... it came to $55.96 ($33.96 without shipping) which is still great. i don't think they'd be any cheaper than that full price here in the Uk so it's worth it.

Hi, has shoebuy.com been in touch? Anything about shipping? because I ordered the trampers the day after you did, and they haven't sent me tracking or told me they've shipped yet-I'm from London too so was wondering if you'd been sent anything?

Hi IMP. One of our friends on this forum also lives overseas (I'm here in the States) and was having trouble getting anything out of ShoeBuy.com too, so she sent them a STERN email and at the same time gave me her order number and I called them for her. This is what I wrote to our fellow Lady Tramper after I spoke to ShoeBuy.com:

She (the ShoeBuy.com rep) said that because you're overseas, it takes 5 to 15 business days before the item gets shipped and received. You ordered on April 18th which means it's just been five business days thus far. So, you've got at the most ten more days to wait (I know it must be agonizing ~ it would be for me!!!), but she did say you will get a shipping confirmation email when the Trampers get shipped. When I asked her if she thought that might be relativly soon, she said yes, but she did say I could call back in a few days to follow up if you haven't heard anything. I also asked if the boots would be shipped via UPS or DHL and she said DHL.

So, why do you try sending them a REALLY stern email and if you'd like, I'll be happy to call them on your behalf too ! I don't mind since the call is free for me. You'll just have to PM me your order number, I don't need any other personal details, since I'll explain to them that we're just friends on a fabulous bulletin board and they'll just pull up your order and get in touch with you then I'm out of the loop. I just want everyone to be a happy Tramper like me!

really? thats a great price...i paid about $12 for my little zip ups on ebay, and another $16 for shipping - very cheap in pounds...

I actually did mail them and they did reply, saying i needed to wait 6-14 days for reciept, but it seemed like quite an automated mail to me-i gave them my order number and everything...so I guess I might be being impatient, but I've bought off sheplers.com before (my tall minnetonkas) and they sent me a mail within a few days saying the shoes had been shipped...if you're friend had the same issue then I guess at least my order's been processed.

I think it has been processed since it sounds like the same issue, but it's hard to wait for those confirmation emails. I found the communication part of the ShoeBuy.com experience to be the most lacking. Otherwise, the price was right and everything else went smoothly. Let me know if I can help and if you do not hear anything from them in a couple of days.

So, how do you like the tall Minnetonkas? I can buy those here and almost did the other day, but I'm afraid I might not be able to pull them off since I think one would have to have fabulous legs to wear them!
