I'm sorry but is it too much to ask for her to wear foundation at the costume gala? I know I'm gonna get bitched at for that. But that's taking the "effortless" look a bit too far. She's already wearing a dress that's worth about $2,000 less than everyone else's, so she could have at least upped the ante with the makeup.

i don't think it's about how much your look costs. i think kate doesn't try to put on an image of flawlessness like most other celebrities. she styles herself, mostly does her own hair and make-up, and looks amazing to boot. plus, when you're a confident person, you don't try to outdo everyone else at the party with your look.

I think the look that she had in the front window (red dress, that hairstyle) would've been good for tonight... although she probably went with black since color can make an inexpensive item look more inexpensive..

I don't think she has amazing skin, it's very grey and you can see the damage her smoking has done.
Whatever she had before that made her so interesting, IMO she's lost it.

It was in the pictures with Naomi Campbell that made me wish she'd put a wee bit of concealer on. And I understand why she wore the Topshop dress, obviously, but I just don't think she looked the best that night.

Damn she looks beautiful even if its a dress that is not that 20,000 dollar, and even its her own collection. I think that she will never get dressed like everyone wants.

And about the make up. She doesn't need all that make up that other stars has to put on.
