Kate Moss - posting requires reading thread rules, see post #1

those videos don't work for me:(
what did she say about shaving and what did she say bout gymnastics reel?

Just search Kate Moss interviews on youtube. you'll come across them. But she was taking with christy turlington (?) about a shoot i believe and she was giggly with a cig and a glass of alcohol, talking about 'shaving' down there lol.. and she looked up at the hair and makeup ppl with a cute laugh.. it was all cute

im no good at explaining sorry :p

There is a reason people still keep coming back here. Under all the criticism, I am still hopeful that she will keep inspiring me.

I can't believe it, I mean Kate always looks like she's wearing an outfit, but AD looks like she's wearing a costume, she's trying way too hard to look cool or whatever ..IMO:innocent:

I kind of agree, AD has only worn a few cool outfits..

No, my point is that it's boring. We GET IT. You like it or your don't, she is great or she has changed. I mean, I'd rather talk about clothing and style, than the same comments being posted over and over. It all seems to elude to the fact that she is getting "older" or "doesn't care". I mean, that conversation is SO boring!
We get it, we get it.

My thoughts exactly^_^

Moving on, can anybody please tell me the designer of the light grey highwasted shorts she wore at the charity shop??
She has had them for years and also has them in brown..

actually DIAMONDSEA, I do mind 5 pages of praising too.

no need to disrespect me, I am a current and active user on TFS for many years.

alot of you seem to take it personally when people love her and even more personally when people hate her.

who said i was a member of the fanclub?

if you did not grow up during the time period where she entered the business, then you really will not have a full understanding of the influence. i've only ever said she is very influential in fashion and would really rather discuss what she is wearing.

now, back to her clothing. i did like the jefferson period a lot.

^^no one here is disrespecting u and it doesnt have anything to do with how long uve been a member here, i think everyone's opinion counts the same

i disagree with the 'if you did not grow up during the time period where she entered the business, then you really will not have a full understanding of the influence.'
because if that was the case, 70% of the posters in this thread wouldnt have a 'full understanding'
i think everyone who posts in this thread and follows it has an understanding of her influence on the fashion world...and u dont even have to be a fan of her...

well, you'd be surprised to see in NYC, how so many people can't stand her at all and think she has no influence and I do know lots of people that work in fashion and magazines. So, you can see how my interpretation would come to this.

it is being disrespectful, when someone is clearly taking my words and telling me how happy i'd be if there were "5 pages of praise" or whatever.

I didn't think the average age of this thread was into their 30's.

i dont care what ppl in NYC or somewhere else think about her...we're talking HERE...on tFS...so that has nothing to do with the discussion really...

and if that was disrespectful people would be disrespectful all the time, simply cos they dont agree

i dont see how talking about Kate's influence in the fashion world is OT talk

Firstly, I'm a bit baffled that you found my comment disrespectful. No offence was intended. :flower:

I guessed (rather then 'telling you how happy you'd be') that you, along with many others, wouldn't mind pages filled with people praising Kate. It was a valid point to make. I have read through all of this thread in the past, and correct me if I'm wrong, but comments like "Would everyone just stop talking about that great outfit? We get it!" crop up very rarely, if ever...

I'm unsure if the rest of your post was directed at me? I couldn't care less what people think of Kate - everyone is entitled to voice their opinion, me included. The fanclub comment was not made by me, but I do understand fairy's point.

I find your last point to be quite patronising - I am well aware of Kate's influence, and don't begrudge her it. You would rather "discuss what she is wearing"? Then why are you complaining when people give their opinions on her style?

Anyway, I don't think I have the tact and diplomacy skills needed to comment in Kate's thread, so I'll go back to lurking for now...

I agree Liberty33r1b, and hence I give you this:

Haven't seen this one either, thanks! Guess it's the time from when she was in NY...she's wearing that top...

In an attempt to move the discussion on a little...

On the tube on the way through St. Johns Wood, I overheard someone say that allegedly the crime rate has gone down in the area, cos of the huge police presence protecting our own Miss. Moss from the paparazzi.

Semi-interesting, non?
