She looks so so chic! Old school Hollywood!
I bet she wore the turban because she mentioned in that interview that she's not loving her hair in the growing out phase... and she's been wearing it up all the time recently. I think that it's a clever and glamorous alternative to the bun she always wears.
And HAWT rings!!!!

why do you mean insane, she doesn't look insane, the turban just usually gives your head more shape, that's why people used to wear them in 20s, beacuse they look so great! and i love her make up!

I don't like that outfit. the whole matchy matchy thing going on is boring.

i usually hate matched outfits, but it works here, cause i guess that gold/bronze color seems always so acient and classic!

the bad news is she wasn't photogenic at the gala. the good news is fortunately she chose the right Balmain futuristic dress for her last event. the Balmain dress Anja Rubik wore at the gala is a bit tacky.

I like Madonna and Kate Moss the most here, come on.This is not an average event!
The only thing Kate Moss keeps doing wrong is that tan,she looks best pale. Her dress is gorgeous.

yes i prefer her in pale. i noticed she often wears tan foundation and stained eye make up for the event which makes her face barbaric. even her bare face with some lines is much prettier than that.

i think that outfit was awful! the front wasn't too bad, but the back of the dress was so ugly. her makeup wasn't any good either.

not loving it, but this is kate....that turban will be on EVERYONE this time next month!

And the winner is ...

May 05, 2009 - When you think of 2008, which dress springs to mind? Maybe it's Herve Leger's bandage dress, Gareth Pugh's dramatic designs or Balmain's rock chick gowns. Well, none of these dresses have been awarded this week as Bath's Fashion Museum awarded model-turned-designer Kate Moss' creation with the prestigious title of Dress of the Year.
This year's surprising choice is likely to be a reflection of the changing economy and highlighting Kate's role in fashion. Museum manager Rosemary Harden explained, "She is quite a new departure in fashion history – a model with a very distinct sense of style, which she has applied to one of the leading high street chains, with massive success. As a fashion historian, I'm glad this has been recorded."
