Supermodel Kate Moss loves to make homemade jams so much that she’s reportedly going to start her own line called Kate’s Damson Jam.
“It started as a hobby, but she’s taking it a lot more seriously after glowing feedback from friends and family,” said a source to The Sun newspaper. “She’s hoping her plum conserve will be a hit with the public.”
Moss’ billionaire friend Sir Philip Green is set to help her in her newest endeavor, reportedly calling in all his high-profile contacts to help market the growing brand.
There’s also another pay off for the model.
“It’s great for mother-daughter bonding. Kate hopes the jam will give Lila a nice project to take over when she’s older,” said the source, referring to Moss’ 7 year-old daughter.
Moss is reportedly so serious about her jam making business that is she taking cooking lessons from famed cook Jamie Oliver.
This marks the model’s first food venture, but the 36 year-old is no stranger to the business world.
Moss already has a fashion line at Topshop and gone on to appear in countless music videos, in addition to her highly lucrative modeling career.
