Kate Moss has furiously denied claims that she and boyfriend Jamie Hince secretly married over the summer.
The supermodel, who rarely makes any comment about her private life, has rubbished a report that she wed on the island of Sicily in front of close friends in late July.
A close source who works for Kate, 36, today told the Mail Online that she is 'definitely not married'.
'Any implication she is... is factually incorrect,' she added.

In a front page story today, The Daily Mirror claimed that Kate had married The Kills guitarist at a 'small, picturesque church' on the island of Sicily.
The report claimed that the bride went barefoot and wore a see-through dress and was joined by locals as well as close friends and daughter Lila Grace.
The Mirror quotes a source who says: 'Kate didn't want a stuffy, formal do, but something spiritual.
'Minutes after tying the knot, the giggling newlyweds were outside the church, dancing under trees.'

Kate and Jamie did, in fact, spent two weeks travelling through Tuscany and the Aeolian Islands this summer.
During their break, the Mail published pictures of them wearing identical bands on their wedding ring fingers. They also had matching anchor tattoos etched on their wrists.
The couple, who have been dating since 2007, were still wearing the rings when they were seen leaving The Crow pub in Notting Hill yesterday, which appears to have added fuel to the wedding rumours.

However, wearing a ring on her wedding finger is nothing new for Kate.

The couple, who live together in North West London, are believed to have gotten engaged on her 36th birthday in January.
A friend told the Mail Online in August, 'Kate and Jamie are closer than ever. They aren't married yet, but it is very much a case of "watch this space".
After being introduced by Sadie Frost at a Kills gig in September 2007, friends say Jamie has been a stabling influence on Kate.

The Mirror has a recorded coversation with someone from storm management confirming the marriage, but asking the reporter not to run the story. It seems she is married but her, or her people are trying to hush it up for some reason.

They're all calling it - well, I am anyway - The Great Cocaine Kate Marriage Mystery.
Hours after I revealed the Croydon cracker Kate Moss had secretly wed hangdog "rocker" Jamie Hince in Sicily, her assorted agents, lawyers and PR flunkies went into meltdown.
"Not so, not so," they squawked as the news went global.
So why would Kate's "people" - she has lots of "people" - have confirmed it to me off the record just 12 hours previously? Perhaps a senior member of Mossy's agency Storm had forgotten to take her morning ginkgo biloba. Or she was having one of those "say one thing, do the opposite" days.
Trouble is, her confirmation of the wedding of the, er, year is on tape.
Here is the evidence in full...
EXHIBIT A
"Storm" Asked how I had found out about the hush-hush event - and said she was "shocked" because there were "so few people present" on the day. Doh!

Poor "Storm" begged me not to run the story because Kate's "people" - yes, those pesky blighters again -had managed to "keep it out of the papers".

I told "Storm" about photos apparently on the market from the big day. She joked that the person who had leaked them "was going to get shot".

Storm: "You know what, that is really, really shocking. There were so few people present... this is completely off the record... we'd be able to find out where those photos came from. And someone is going to get shot!"
C: "Right, OK. Well, I don't really know what to do about it - I don't want to use these pictures if I'm going to get sued or whatever."

why keep it a secret? there obviously ARE no photos so whats with the secrecy? everyone knows they are a couple-shes not single! its sooo silly

True or false, we can’t help but notice that Kate’s been auditioning for the bridal role for some time—though the wedding dress, as in Inez van Lamsweerde’s famous shot of a nude, veiled Kate, has occasionally been deemed optional.

I don't get why The Mirror is taking the moral high ground here. Its Kate and Jamie's private business, if they want to share news about their relationship with the rest of the world then its up to them.
