Kate Moss - posting requires reading thread rules, see post #1

Looking at the last 5-10 pages with a mix of old and new. People can say anything about her looking too plastic these days and too washed up before, but the body of work is so quintessential and emblematic.
(I refuse to use the word "iconic", because Instagram girls playing critique de mode and arrogant online herd gay queens totally destroyed the meaning of the word)

There was, is and will be only one Kate, as worn as she used to be and as Madonnified her face may become. The attitude and the amount of legendary works and appearances is just too much to be simply brushed away by a couple of local SJWs saying she is passé and too basic.

Those John Galliano and Margiela runways and right after them the new SL campaign make me happy in the fashion-primal sense of the word. Sometimes a bit of good old Kate in a sheer top nonchalantly flashing her goods is all I need to be a little hopeful in the sea of mediocrity today.

That's definitely S/S 1993.
I've been collecting vintage fashion shows for years and can confirm that Kate didn't walk for Dolce & Gabbana F/W 1992. The models who walked for the F/W 1992 show were:
Meghan Douglas
Yasmeen Ghauri
Naomi Campbell
Christy Turlington
Judit Masco
Stephanie Seymour
Heather Stewart-Whyte
Karen Mulder
Yasmin Le Bon
Nadege du Bospertus
Linda Evangelista
Tatjana Patitz
Angelika Kallio
Helena Christensen
Susan Holmes
Suzanne Lanza
Marpessa Hennink
Monica Bellucci
Carla Bruni
Elaine Irwin
And a couple of lesser-known girls. But no Kate.

The major issue on my end was the lack of secondary info. The pinterest pin I swiped from were labeled as such. After so much mining there are about 12-14 repetative sources appearing , 3/4 of which are leaning on each other , most of the people on Pinterest that are doing this are usually right. It’s there own interest.

In this case firstview had nothing. Getty you just posted one of the seven total eight different countries have posted all black and white to boot. Both of the screw vogues paywall sites didn’t have either , and the cluster of obsessed bloggers from tumblr/ word press / blogs pot etc.. nada.

One of the reasons , keeping in mind how reliable the internet really is and that teamed with the fact this is all new to me , I am doing it here. Everyone else has been looking at this for years with obsessed fan status. Which is why when you saw it your reaction was probably more just to look at it and go no that’s that I’ve seen that my whole life.

So we know it’s right and bonus we got the second rare color photo during the verification , yay us.
