^^ I agree. She's worn some beautiful dresses to premieres and whatnot, but at an awards show i've only ever LOVED that red ben de lisi.
She always looks lovely, but never wows me. And I love her so that's saying something.
I think the thing is that she always dresses 'safe' at these things. Very elegant and SO simple. I wish she'd take a risk one day. Wear Chanel or Dior with her hair out in loose waves! Maybe even a smokey eye! SHOCK.

I hope she wears her hair down at the Baftas or Oscars.
She always looks lovely, but it'd be nice to see her a little looser. Like the Santa Barbara Festival.

Ugh, I completely agree. I always, always wish she'd leave her hair down, or even halfway down--the hair at the Santa Barbara Festival WAS wonderful, wasn't it? Slightly messy and loose and just so pretty. I mean, I love it when she looks polished and all that but she just looks so much softer with her hair down. And as for taking risks with her wardrobe--she looks great in blues, I love the color of the dress from the SAGs (and well, I like the dress too, she's really highlighting her assets lately and good on her for that, she looks amazing) but she's always in blues or black or just something dark, and a splash of color would be great. That red Ben de Lisi was one of my favorite looks on anyone ever, if she could find something as great as that I'd be really pleased
