BYKOVA, SHE'S GOT IT

SOMETIMES models really do live a fairytale. At the age of 16, Katerina Bykova had never set foot on a runway, but just a month before the shows began last month she was spotted by an IMG model scout in a small village in Russia, who sent polaroids straight off to all the top fashion houses. Three weeks later she was walking the runway of Louis Vuitton, having been booked on an exclusive by Marc Jacobs. Stylist extraordinaire Katie Grand was so impressed when she met Katerina that she spent the week before the show working with her on all the looks and fittings for the show. Described by a top IMG exec as having "classic beauty and long limbs", she is already being hailed as "the new Karolina K". Also up on the "ones to watch" list after the latest run of shows is the gorgeous Natasha Poly. Chosen by Giles Deacon to close his show in London, the 19-year-old Russian was a regular sighting on all the season's major catwalks and we're told she has already landed an exclusive deal to front the forthcoming Gucci campaign.
