Kellan Lutz’s New Gig: Jeans Model—and Designer!

Kellan Lutz had women around the globe drooling over his shirtless underwear ads for Calvin Klein last year, and now the Twilight star is back to modeling — but this time it’s for a collection he’s designing himself. In addition to being the first-ever spokesmodel for Los Angeles-based premium denim label Dylan George, Kellan is teaming up with the brand’s founder, Daniel Guez, to design a ready-to-wear menswear line. According to WWD, the new 25-piece collection will come to market under a sub-brand called Abbot & Main by Dylan George and focus on separates that range from $48 T-shirts to $248 cashmere hoodies. As for the collection’s name: Abbot & Main, the publication reveals, is an an intersection near Lutz’s California home. –Kim Peiffer

Kellan Lutz Celebrating Mardi Gras By Rebuilding NOLA

OK fine, so the "Twilight" star is worth all the hype. Not only is he dreamy, he's talented, smart and genuinely involved in issues that matter. Instead of littering his Twitter feed today with 140-character party recaps, he's populated it with tweets dedicated to the St. Bernard Project (SBP)'s New Orleans restoration efforts.

Shortly after AnnaLynne McCord introduced Lutz to the Hurricane Katrina relief effort, the actor decided to do more than simply donate to New Orleans' reconstruction--Lutz traveled to the disaster-stricken area to get involved.

"Until I was in New Orleans and saw the devastation firsthand, I had no idea about the extent of the enduring needs," said Lutz. "I met families who were living in FEMA trailers or their gutted homes for five years after Katrina."

Shortly after, Lutz signed on to get his hands dirty in N.O., rebuilding homes and changing lives with SBP, which has already reconstructed more than 350 houses and provided mental health resources for residents.

This Mardi Gras, Lutz is serving as grand marshal of SBP's "Get on the Float" campaign, which helps drive donations directly into home reconstruction efforts. You can get involved by donating or volunteering in the area. As an added bonus, everyone who donates will be entered to win autographed "Twilight" memorabilia from Lutz and his castmates, as well as the chance to have @kellanlutz shout them out on Twitter for their gift. He plans to tweet about a different contributor daily.

"We want to raise enough money to get at least one family one home," said Lutz of the "Get on the Float" campaign. And in my opinion, this is a brilliant way to do so.

Twilight heartthrob -- no, not Robert Pattinson or Taylor Lautner! -- Kellan Lutz (Emmett Cullen) celebrated his 26th birthday at Pure at Caesars Palace with his dad Brad and his brother Brandon, who was celebrating his bachelor party. The weekend included a party of 10 for dinner at Social House at Crystals at CityCenter.

On the red carpet outside Pure, Lutz sported a maroon sweater that showed off his fit physique and relaxed dark jeans. Lutz, who recently moved to Venice, Calif., is releasing his own line of jeans with L.A.-based Dylan George. He said that he’s in no rush to settle down. “I love being in relationships, but I’m so focused on work right now, I just don’t really have time to be in one and to give a relationship what it really needs,” he said. Guess it really is over with AnnaLynne McCord! Lutz was presented with a four-tier birthday cake inside Pure, and the all-male entourage partied the night away.
