She actually had two looks

Yohji Yamamoto S/S 2012

Yohji is far from a bad start in Paris, but I would have preferred something a bit bigger. I hope things go upwards from here!

As far as her runway appearance is concerned, I actually think she's improved - her posture looks better, at any rate. And her skin is flawless omg

Yohji Yamamoto is a brand with sense and brain, so I don't mind.
And (this season) it doesn't really matter if you start out at a tasteful show like Yohji or as one of six exclusives at Balenciaga (With face being covered by a oh-so directional 5 sq m hat). I hope she has a great season in Paris.

what on earth is going on with the hair at Yohji Yamamoto?? :ninja:
it's good to see her in Paris, though!

Here are the shots in better quality.

I think people are expecting too much of her as a catwalk model: her bone-structure is totally unique, which is as much a curse as it is a blessing, and I think it really limits her runway appeal (though I quite enjoy her appearances on the runway myself). She could prove me wrong (Lindsey Wixson did) but still, I think she'll always have her niche shows, and she's too good a print model to just fade away.

^I agree, probably she's not a runway model, but God, she looks great as a print model, just look the Prada ad, Vogue Italia and this Vogue China preview, she looks great and diferent in the three of them. I'm sure good things will come for her, probably not this season, maybe we have to wait 2 or 3 more. :)

we know she's in paris doing castings, but wouldn't showing up at a less prestigious (in terms of model casting) show like V&R in a way damage her "it" factor? she should at least be a miu miu exclusive, wouldn't you think? or perhaps miucca has passed her over to marc and kelly will open vuitton (but i highly doubt)

I don't know but take a look at V&R castings now and before it's always great with girls like Kloss (who selective pick her shows), Poly, ABK, Daphne. I wouldn't consider V&R as less prestigious or that it would damn her. So now Yohji.. Ahh well,
remember Daphne G, dropped at Prada two seasons ago last minute, then showed up at Giorgio Armani, Emporio Armani, Versus and other less non blue chip shows but grabbed a miumiu campaign and after that a ck excl. anyway. So her tough start can promise good things, it's not the end of the world.

I think she got a "difficult" look like others said. Also I think she indeed fit the Japanse designers. Well.. I expect her at LV though. Colgone_Rocks is right: one of the 6 is also not that impressive. And in the end you better grab the big campaigns then walk every blue chip show and end up with nothing.

I didn't expect to see her at Loewe, but she looks nice.

since Katie Grand is styling Loewe I was expecting her there. I think Louis Vuitton is a safe bet too

She looked amazing at Loewe! I think it's the best I've seen her look all season ^_^

She looks so fresh and unique, I really hope she never changes anything of her because of the industry.
