No offense, because I love me some Kendal, but she cannot compare to Joan Smalls.

Kendal Brown is neithe Mixed-race or a Latina like Joan.

I expected you out of all people to tell the difference between a Black and Mixed-race person.
That's why there is a divide between the two group.

It is a big deal. You're essentially denying a part who you are. And for most of the time the difference is quite obvious.
I want Black women to represent Black women. That will expose people to their beauty. Black beauty is not appreciated and is seen threating and not attractive.

Good example: Just look at Jamine tookes features and hair and what about Lais. Those are the women that are suppose to represent Black women. It also keeps companies from being labeled as racist.

What about adding and using a beatiful black women like Maria Borges?

Mixed girls should represent themselves without having to deny any part of their Race and/or Heritage.

Because mixed race women are called Black, the ideals for a beautiful Black women is actually of mixed one.


And Aren't you Dominican? Most Dominicans I've met do not Identify as black flat out. And I've met a few in my life. They even get insulted at the thought.

I hope you understand a little of what I'm trying to say. The world is diverse and should not be segrated into Black and White. This is not 50's in the U.S. Not every one can be clumped in together.

How sure are we that Kendall is not mixed? The post was about them looking alike not their race. Also fashionlover stated that Kendal Brown is neithe Mixed-race or a Latina like Joan, I thought there are black Latinos. A black African, Latino, European or American all have something in common.

We need to stop being too politically correct tho the conversation will keep her thread alive

I wonder why this girl never made it. She has everything the look, height, skin, body. fresh face etc! She should go to South Africa at least, she will be working in a flash.
