I like this - it looks sophisticated but with enough visual interest to keep me into it (I'm speculating that Khaite is trying to become like the NY answer to 90s Prada, and I rather like it). Even the lip print on the pleated skirt/dresses/shirt feels like a nod to turn-of-the-centry Miuccia.

It’s quite nice actually, probably the collection I’ve liked the most from Khaite. It’s not very original and it does carry that whiff of old-Celine that plagues NY but it’s a far cry from the pretentiousness of Proenza or Jil for example, it’s wearable with a slight edge. The slicked back hair and big earrings are great styling, makes it feel more womanly.
