Kiehl's

^ I thought their pineapple (with papaya) exfoliant was for the face...?? Not too sure if they came out with a new one.

I've tried their Soymilk body scrub - over zealous scrubbing left me itching all over!! It's fine when I mixed it with a body shower gel though... I'm addicted to their Creme de Corps though!

^^Oops. You're right [vogue]. I didn't read the thread. I have tried Sonya Dakur exfoliant for the body and have been quite pleased.

Just bought Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cleanser, Toner + Moisturizer ^_^
The saleswoman was very friendly (well of course she was as she wants to sell the product, but nowadays its worth mentioning I think) and I felt that she really took her time and tried her best to advise me. So yeah I ended up with these three products, and even if they arent against breakouts, she said that my skin looks rather irritated and dried-out than unclean or oily.
I let you guys know how it works :flower: Anyone got experiences with that line yet ?

^cold_sun: I love the Ultra Facial Moisturizer. It moisturizes and does exactly what it says. You can even mix equal parts with your foundation to make your own tinted moisturizer! Love mixing them when less coverage is needed.

I was given the Ultra Facial Moisturizer for Christmas along with the Rare Earth Face Masque. I used both the other day and my skin could have just had a facial.

Quite like their Superbly Efficient deodorant cream thingy, doesn't leave as many white marks as the usual suspects...but it does take a while to dry

.

I used to work at a boutique that carried Kiehls. Part of our training was trying all of the products, so I know pretty much all of them. I also got to hear a lot of feedback from a lot of customers, etc. and found out what really sells. Here are a few favorites/ stuff I really remember or use:

- Pineapple Papaya Enzyme Scrub: Their directions on the bottle don't state it, but you're supposed to leave it on for a couple of minutes. Amazing stuff and great for skin that is sensitive to scrubs, etc. Makes your skin amazingly soft. One of their best sellers.

- Creme de Corps/ Soy Milk and Honey Body Polish: When used in combination, will give you the most buttery soft amazing feeling. No need to use everyday, but it's a great once-a-week routine.

- Amino Acid Shampoo: Perfect for most types of hair. Sold this a lot. Especially to men.

- Number One Lipbalm: Actually not much of a favorite. The baby lipbalm is easier to use and less germy since you don't have to touch it. The men's lipbalm is also good option, it's pretty much the same formulation but with a semi-matte finish.

- Olive Fruit Oil Nourishing Conditioner: I recommend this to anyone who has dyed or permed their hair and now has kind of coarse, tangly hair. This whole line is amazing and great! It makes your hair super silky and soft. I used to use Frederick Fekkai but this stuff is better!

Other Stuff:
- Kiehls is 100% guaranteed, and that is their company policy. If any place tells you you cannot get your money back, they're probably not a reputable Kiehl's dealer. Target for a while back had some Kiehls through some kind of illegal agreement. I think they have since been taken out of the stores.

- I would ask for samples at any Kiehls stores. We were told to give at least two samples that we thought might be suited to that particular customer. Most Kiehl's counters/ stores will have all that they carry in sample form (unless they're out).

- PS, The samples for the eye creams are half the size of the actual eye creams. Just get two and it's like buying the actual item.

That's all. Hope that was somewhat helpful.

Thanks for that.

I always wondered why their eyecream samples were so huge, lol! I`ve been taking advantage of the eyecream samples for years now.

I have alot of their products, I`m a huge fan.

Love the Non-Detergent Foaming Facial Cleanser, and the hair Heat Protecting Straightening Cream... it is my holy grail item... makes my naturally curly hair silky and resist the humidity like nothing else, which means alot considering I've tried like, 20 products like this. You have to kiss alot of frogs to find your price, I suppose!

I think kiehls is amazing! I personally don't use it, but my mother does and her skin is wonderful. She just turned 50 but you would never ever guess it by looking at her. I'm sure good genes has a lot to do with as well, but she swears that it's the kiehls!

I just bought some of their Pear range yesterday - bodylotion, shower gel, hand wash gel.. oh and the pineapple facial scrub :flower: Can't wait to get in the shower ;)
I am already a fan of their Avocado Eye Cream but since it feels to thick in summer i got two samples of lighter eye creams.. one is out of their men range but i don't mind that.
I love Creme de Corps also, but yesterday I felt I already spent enough money *eek*

I just purchased their Amino Acid Shampoo and conditioner, and it's amazing! I found that my hair was more sotfer, and shined more, without becoming greasy so easily. I used to use Kerastase - but I found that kerastase makes your hair oily more often.

Was surprised to see the new perfume essences! I remember the sales girl in Bloomingdale's telling me that they were discontinuing them 2 years ago...she probably didn't realize it was more like repackaging. But yowza, the prices! I admit that the rollerball application is much nicer/neater but I think I remember paying around $10 for the small glass vial versus $30 for these rollerball apps. I still like the musk, the amber is really rich and reminds me of something more expensive, I can't remember what exactly. Chinese Flowers, is an homage to Opium I think, an oriental. Didn't think much of it. I think I'll go back and sample them again.

I really like their styling pastes, they give hold without greasing the hair in^_^
