I've still have yet to see Norwegian Wood, but I did notice her during the promotion of the film. She's a very pretty girl, and I believe she will have a successful career. Especially, since she's multi-lingual.

she's gorgeous! See, this is what I hate - just when i finally decide to commit to growing my hair out, I see her bob and now my fingers are itching for the scissors!

Norwegian Wood is one of my fav books - I pictured Midori to be a bit .... hmmm, maybe a bit more spirited looking, if that makes sense? But then i haven't seen the movie yet, so I'll reserve judgement

Oh, and her background is interesting too - her mother is Korean, but Zainichi Korean, which means she's part of an ethnic Korean group that has been in Japan since the early 1900's. Her last name is 100% Japanese, so I wouldn't be suprised if she actually has some ethnic Japanese mixed in as well. Anyhoo, who really cares, she's great!
