i'm waiting for a pair of cream colored ones i ordered from ebay...i'm probly also going to get them in brown and black

seriously, thats something that goes thru my head from time to time-i did wonder if they were a bit too trendy to wear, but what it boils down to is that i like them, so i'm going to wear them and i dont care what anyone thinks. besides, its not like i'll wear them with a bunch of other trends at the same time...i'll work them into my look, so they wont be wearing me, i'll be wearing them

both. a kukui tree makes kukui nuts, which are harvested off the trees at different times of the year, giving them different colors (black, brown). the blonde or cream kukui nuts are just regular brown kukui nuts that have been sanded to the inner layer.

i wish i could find a necklace made of the smaller kukui nuts. i read on some ebay auction that the smaller nuts are considered "garbage" nuts, but as much as i love my cream colored kukui nut necklace, i'd really love it more if i could get one with nuts that were about half the size...
