It's melodramatic, it's pretty. It's in the vein of what Gucci, Loewe and Chloé do but I don't mind that; I'd actually encourage more storytelling in advertising as opposed to the many commercial studio shots we get lately.

The power of a good campaign is immeasurable. Luchford is turning out incredible work this season. He has managed to make Lanvin look relevant again which is no small task. Bravo Glen and co.

I think the Loewe aesthetic is part of the reason he was hired. Brands are trying to fill the Celine/Phoebe Philo-shaped hole in the market. Same with Bottega Venetta.
