I loathe the current incarnation of Gucci - for being childish, hipster nonsense - yet I have to admit, there's more life and interest in this, than in most other campaigns at the moment. But that sounds more like a compliment than I mean it to be.
I can't help but enjoy the vivid cinematic scope of Luchford's images here, even if Michele's Gucci is often an eyesore (at least when presented the way that it is on the runway) for me until it's completely deconstructed.
D&G should learn something from this. They went for the ''caught in the moment'', natural and etc, and it kind of works here.
Nice campaign. But I still hate this Gucci direction.
