Lanvin platform cone heels

^ The opening of something. She was wearing a...turquoise dress and the mustard pumps, she was with her back against a mirror and her legs spread a-la Grace Jones. I saw it on that TV show in Vh1 that covers celebrities...Not Best Week Ever, the one that's just pictures of celebrities (which is soo crazy, I was just flipping through)

I just received my Lanvins. They are gorgeous.
The heels measure 5.25. I love the color too. They are patent, emerald green (a bit darker than the pic:(heart:

they're totally gorgeous:flower:

Barneys Chicago has a green pair (T-strap) in 36 and a 38 if anybody is interested.

Any more word on who has still got these? (besides the green ones at Barney's) I need a 41. God I am soooo into these frggn shoes. they are like fabulous mid-century architecture to me - I just can't stop staring! :woot::heart::heart:
HEY BTW I did read the thread but since It's been over a week I thought I'd ask to see if anyone knew who still had any (so don't get mad at me pleeeeeeze) thanks!

love that picture of MK, the Lanvins are the perfect shoe w/skinny jeans.

But in the first picture MK looks like she's wearing open toe ones:blink: Maybe she has two pairs? I prefer the open toe but I  them both

^^^I think it's just the lighting that make them seem open-toed in the 1st pic.

^ yeah, it's definitely the same shoe in both pics

LANVIN CONE HEELS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK, I need to ask Brian (who knows more about designer heels than anyone I've ever met or threaded with) two questions:

(1) where do I get them, in red or black
(2) do I need to size UP or not, or size down (as he knows, I wear 40.5 CL shoes -- sometimes, but a 40 Gwenissima. Oh well...

^ hahaha...thank you deedee!

ikram in chicago and barneys new york carried these shoes in red and black, but i'm not sure if they're still available

you can call ikram at 312-587-1000
and barneys new york at 212-826-8900
i believe barneys beverly hills carried them as well-- 310-276-4400

i think you should get the shoes in 40.5, i've heard they run pretty true to size.
if they don't have half sizes i'd go for the 41

I can't understand it. I take an exact 40 for Alexandra Neel, Brian Atwood, D & G, and Chanel. Gucci, I am more like a 39.5; Marc Jacobs, too. Why should I need a 40.5 (usually) for CL and almost a 41 for Jimmy Choo? How can the sizing be THAT different???

It sure makes shoe shopping troublesome..... ESpecially because I've learned the hard way that I CANNOT shoe-shop AT the actual store; the styles I want are ALWAYS not there -- they've been bought up by foot-obsessives like me. Yet shopping by online or telephone means I can't try the shoes on and have to HOPE that they'll fit.... SOOO much tsauriss
