I'm part of the group that loves these shoes....they're some of the coolest, most interesting shoes I've ever seen. I couldn't care less who designed them to be quite honest, but the fact that they came from the king of ladylike chic just makes them even cooler.

Love the patent open-toe in black and red, the sandal with the ankle strap and the black satin pump.....they all make me wish I was a women for a while.

I think they looked fabulous on the runway, but judging by the Luisa via Roma pics, the actual production shoes look cheap and poorly made.

^ I think it's just the LVR pics. They are taking them for a ankle below eye level so the platform looks unproportional to the shoe. Half their pics dont do any justice to their merchandise.

I've tried calling the barneys store to waitlist but everyone there seems clueless. There are no lanvin boutiques in the US as far as I know, where else can I try?
